105U-1,2,3,4 Multi I/O I/O Point to Multi-Point Networking Applications • High level alarms • Security gate control • Emergency shower notification • Flow meter monitoring • Storage tank monitoring • Pipeline cathodic protection • Pump stop-start • Lighting bank control • Weather station reporting • Bearing condition monitoring Specifications Transmitter/Receiver Description The ELPRO multi-I/O products are two-way communication devices which transmit signal values by radio (specifying the value and I/O output channel) to a receiving module. The receiving module then decodes the message, generating/re-creating the value at the specified I/O channel outputs. ELPRO 105U series products have four differing I/O versions and can multihop repeat five times. When combined with ELPRO’s 115S series products or gateway products, the 105U series can accommodate changing I/O and data-bus/protocol requirements. Modulation DFSK(1) Transmit Power 148 - 174MHz, 0.1 - 5W 220 - 235MHz, 0.1 - 5W 360 - 512MHz, 10mW - 5W 869.525MHz, 500mW 869.875MHz, 5mW Receiver Sensitivity 400MHz: –112dBm 868MHz(2): –108dBm: 869.525/869.875MHz Data Rate 400MHz: 3.6kbps 868MHz(2): 19.2kbps, forward-error correction Line Of Sight Range(3) 400MHz: 10mW EIRP to 2km; 500mW EIRP to 10km; 5W EIRP to 50km 868MHz(2): 5km (500mW); 1km (5mW) Antenna Connector 400MHz: BNC Female Coaxial with gas discharge arrestor 868MHz(3): SMA Female Coaxial Features • AC/DC/battery power options, UPS battery charger and solar re.g.,ulator. • Multiple I/O channels for monitoring and/or controlling field devices with set-point option availability*. Additional internal I/O points include low/ normal supply and battery voltage (analog). • I/O inputs can be linked to single or multiple I/O outputs (up to 95 units in a system). • Point to multi-point communications combining exception-reporting, selfchecking and data encryption. • Communication-failure notification and diagnostics including radio path measurement, communications logging, verification of input/output values. • User-friendly configuration software. • Class I Division 2 hazardous areas approval (USA/Canada). *Setpoint status generated by comparing analog inputs to high and low setpoints.
