Caldwell Bennett, Inc. is a family owned and
operated manufacturer and distributor located in
upstate New York entering our 35th year of business.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive array of
quality cabling products for retail music outlets, live
sound and lighting, studio, and contractor customers,
with unsurpassed personal attention, flexibility,
delivery time, and value!
Our warehousing and stocking capabilities enable quicker lead times
The majority of C.B.I.’s product line is hand-soldered in our NYS factory by our expert
technicians. All manufactured products must pass extensive quality control inspection and testing
before shipment. We also warehouse a wide variety of wire and connectors and will special order or
drop ship, often with no minimums!
Our friendly inside sales team combines many years of related experience and background
in retail music, wire and cable, audio engineering, technology, and musical performance. As a
C.B.I. customer, you will receive personal one-on-one attention to help get your questions answered
fast, and determine the right product for your needs.
C.B.I.’s “no minimum” policy gives our customers the freedom to grow accustomed to our
product line on their own terms, without being pressured into a large all-encompassing, overpriced,
“package deal”.

In-ear monitor systems have become a standard for touring musicians, most
commonly utilizing a small rack that holds all of the wireless transmitters, signal processing,
and a rack mount mixing board. Stage microphones and instrument signals are split to feed
both the performer’s system and the main sound system. C.B.I. has developed a splitter
snake that will fit perfectly into this type of system. The trunk lengths can be customized
along with options such as isolation transformers and ground lifts.

one for the screen (or ground) connection. As each pin is activated, the LED’s indicate all
connections associated with that pin, so that short, open and crossed circuits can be easily

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Sales Tax:
Shipments are subject to state sales tax unless the
required paperwork is completed prior to the time of sale.
Requirements vary from state to state. Your sales person will
assist you.
Custom Orders:
C.B.I will build to your exact requirements. Custom
work will require written approval and/or drawings. Quotes
and delivery information are usually available the same day.
50% deposit is required. All deposits are non-refundable once
production has begun, or custom parts have been ordered,
including special orders of non-catalog items.
Verbal Orders:
C.B.I strongly encourages written Purchase Orders
from our customers, however we understand that in some
cases this is not possible. When placing a verbal order,
the salesperson will read it back and confirm all details.
However, once placed, any discrepancy in the written sales
order will be the responsibility of the customer. For this
reason, we encourage the customer to approve a fax or e-mail
copy of the sales order, to avoid any such discrepancies.
Payment Terms:
All new customers must complete a dealer
application. Available terms include Prepay, COD, CC,
Net-30, or Wire Transfer.
COD(Check/Certified): A $30 NSF fee will apply to all
returned checks. Requires approval of completed credit
application.
Credit Card: C.B.I accepts all major credit cards. Credit
cards require cardholders signature to be kept on file.
Net-30: Requires approval of completed credit application.
Wire Transfers: Will incur a bank fee (Special terms and
conditions may apply)
*Customer is liable for any and all collection fees on unpaid
checks and past due open accounts.
*C.B.I maintains strict data storage security measures. All
customer information is kept confidential.
Warranty:
Consumer Warranty
Standard cables are guaranteed for a period of
10 years against defects in material and workmanship.
Warranty items may be returned prepaid to the factory
without prior authorization. Proof of purchase must be
enclosed with a description of the problem.
Dealer Warranty
Defective standard cables may be returned prepaid
to the factory, and will be replaced with new cables on your
next order. Some items may be repaired instead at our option.
Abused products will be excluded from this guarantee.

Drop Shipments:
C.B.I is pleased to provide drop shipment service
for your customers. However, a $5.00 handling charge will
apply. Signatures will be required. Any additional charges
are the responsibility of the customer. This may include but
not limited to refusal charges, signature required, liftgate
delivery, residential charges, etc.
Private Pack / Imprinting:
C.B.I offers private label / custom packaging
to our dealers and distributors. Minimum orders apply,
and custom packaging materials must be prepaid by the
customer. Custom imprinting on heat shrink is available
on a minimum order of 20 pieces. There is a .25 per piece
Print charge to each cable for this service. Begin Model #
with “P-”
Retail Pricing:
Retail prices are suggested only, and are meant
as a guideline for the dealer. Restrictions may apply for
national ads and the internet.
Returns:
Prior authorization is required. C.B.I will not
accept returns from shipper without return authorization
number. Call with any problem. All standard returns for
credit are subject to a 20% restocking fee. All custom
products and special order items are non-returnable and
non-refundable. Customers must notify C.B.I within 30
days of receiving any order discrepancies.
Shipping:
All orders are F.O.B. from the factory in
Oriskany, NY. C.B.I will choose UPS or FedEx Ground
unless specified. Other options are US Postal and
common carrier truck (required for 150+ lbs). Customer is
responsible for all additional charges. Residential delivery,
refusals, incorrect addresses, liftgate charges etc.
Rush Orders:
Expedited orders are C.B.I’s specialty. However,
when additional production or shipping costs are incurred
by C.B.I on rushed orders, they will be passed on to the
customer as an expedite fee. You will be advised of any
such fees before the order is processed.
Refusals:
Customer is responsible for all freight costs
incurred for a refused order. This includes the original
shipping and the return shipping. Refusals are also subject
to a restocking fee.
Liability:
All prices and specifications are subject to
change without notice. C.B.I will not be liable under any
circumstances for consequential, incidental, special, or
exemplary damages. C.B.I’s liability will be limited to the
repair or replacement of a defective product.
