Filter Housings

3M™ 740 series filter housings are ASME Code vessels specifically designed to accommodate the 740 series high capacity filter elements. The housings are available in a standard design, as well as in customizable configurations to suit your specific needs. 3M 740 series filter housings are ideally suited for demanding applications requiring filtration of dirty influents at the lowest total filtration cost.

All standard 740 series filter housings are designed, manufactured, tested, and code stamped in accordance with ASME Section VIII,

Division 1. Stainless steel housing external surfaces are glass bead blasted for a consistent, easy care finish, while carbon steel housing external surfaces are painted. Housings are available in horizontal or vertical configurations, depending on your needs. Choose the horizontal option to maximize ease of operation, or the vertical to minimize the system’s footprint.
