Measure the space to be enclosed, you may need to use extensions. Only use one extension on either side of gate. Make sure gate is square during installation for optimum operation. If gate is crooked it may not operate properly. Opening Size Extension Needed 28 ¾ in – 32 ¼ in no extension 32 ½ in – 36 ¼ in 1 x 4 in extension 36 ½ in – 40 ¼ in 1 x 8 in extension 40 ½ in – 44 in 1 x 12 in extension 2. Screw adjuster screws onto adjuster bolts then place into mounting holes in each corner of gate. 3. Mark the support position of adjuster bolts on wall or frame, then affix each cup to the wall using screws. 4. Align the gate and tighten adjuster screws. Make sure the adjuster bolts are locked tightly into the holding cups. Ensure the spacing is equal on both sides of the gate. Make sure the gate is completely flat on the floor and locked firm. Ensure the adjuster bolts are locked firmly into the tube plugs in each corner of the gate, and make the door lock firmly on the frame. Operation Instructions 1. To open gate by hand, slide the button on top of gate and grip the gate with fingers. Lift up on the gate, then open the gate from either side. 2. To open gate by foot, step down on the button of the foot pedal . Remove foot. Push the gate by knee or foot to open. Note: The gate is auto close. When open the indication light is red.
