StellaNGC-RP Advanced solution for GNSS professional testing StellaNGC-RP Record and Playback in a Single Equipment Since its creation, M3 Systems has contributed to key milestones of the GALILEO program, starting in 2000 with the early simulation of GPS evil waveforms and GALILEO “AltBoc”* signal in support to French Space Agency (CNES). M3 Systems developped its first GNSS data recorder and playback system in 2004 and has contributed to the GIOVE A signal analysis, in early 2006, with this equipment. Since then, supported by major european space actors, M3 Systems has continuously improved its product capabilities which has lead to high performance solutions in terms of data rate, data storage volume and multi-frequency recording. The STELLA NGC-RP combines the GNSS expertise from M3 Systems together with the high quality performances of National Instruments’ Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) platforms. This leads to an high performance recording and playback capabilities in a single equipment. *AltBoc invented by CNES Key features • • • • • • • • Full coverage of GNSS bands (L1, L2, L5) such as GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS Frequency range 65 MHz - 6 GHz Record and Playback in a single equipment 1 or more channels Frequency band width up to 80/200MHz Real time signal processing to check recorded signal Extensions : »» External data storage »» S/W upgrade to GNSS simulator User-friendly interface A complete and professional solution for GNSS testing StellaNGC-RP Advanced solution for GNSS professional testing Frequency • • • Warmup Time Frequency Band Frequency Resolution LO Phase Noise • Architecture Considerations • Internal Reference • Temperature Stability 65MHz to 6GHz < 1 Hz - 91 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz offset - 108 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz offset - 112 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset - 122 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset - 145 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset low-IF or zero IF direct conversion 10 MHz +/- 0.2ppm initial accuracy +/- 1ppm aging stability +/- 1ppm temperature stability +/- 0.2ppm initial accuracy +/- 1ppm aging stability +/- 1ppm temperature stability Amplitude • Input Noise Floor • • • • Output Noise Floor Maximum Input Maximum Output Total Chain Gain • • Accuracy Level Attenuation Range • • RF IN VSWR RF OUT VSWR -159 dBm at -50 dBm ref level -145 dBm at -10 dBm ref level -168 dBm/Hz + 30 dBm +10 dBm +55 dB 1dB step +/- 0.55 dB +80 dB 1dB step 1.4:1 (109 MHz<f<2.4GHz) 1.25:1 (109 MHz<f<2GHz) Baseband • • • • • Received Bandwidth ADC Quantization ADC Sampling Rate Non-Harmonic Spurs IIP3 • Image Rejection (dBc) 80 MHz 16 bits IQ 120 Msps -55 dBc 19 dBm with -5 dBm ref level 11 dBm with -20 dBm ref level+/- 0.55 dB -70 dBc Synchronization • Synchronization < 500 ps StellaNGC-RP by Config Record Playback Warmup Time 30 min (typical) Connectors • • • • • RF IN RF OUT Trigger/Sync IN Ref In Ref Out • Digital I/Os sma (female) sma (female) sma (female) sma (female) sma (female) 24 I/O, 2 PFI 1 clk in, 1 clk out System Computer • • OS CPU • RAM • Connectors • Display Interface Windows 7 (64-bit) Intel Core i7-3610QE (2,3 GHz) 4GB DDR3 1600MHz (up to 16GB) 2x USB3.0, 4 x USB2.0 2 Gigabit Ethernet, GPIB, serial and Others… HDMI, DVI, VGA Storage • Internal • External 4-Drive HDD, 3TB High Speed Storage Modules 6 to 24 TB RAID, Very High Speed Storage Modules Additional informations • • • • • • Calibration Size (H x W x D) Weight Operating T°C Storage T°C Humidity • Power • Compliance 1 year 27cm x 20cm x 45cm 11,6 Kg 0 to +55 °C -40 to +70 °C 10% to 90% (non-condensing) 100 - 240 V 47 - 63 Hz FCC 47 part 15 class A CE European Directive 2006/95/EC (safety) 2004/108/EC (EMC) Options Control Power (dBm) Configuration • Record Frequency (Hz) Power (dBm) StellaNGC-RP Pause Stop Partner Frequency (Hz) Host Status Acquisition Progress www.m3systems.net contact@m3systems.net Phone number : +33 (0)5 62 23 10 80 Host Buffer Status
