Product:
HS-2000 Centrifuge Gear End Trunnion
Problem:
The weld joining the 4130 spline shaft to the stainless steel flange
may not be strong enough for the new gearbox option whose torque
rating has doubled.
Solution:
Replace the existing trunnion with the redesigned trunnion, P/N 14154
rev. 4 available at the Conroe facility. This part has been reworked
with deeper, full penetration welds. In addition, the two-pin connection
has been replaced with a more suitable press-fit connection.
Note:
This new trunion is fully compatible with the rest of the parts for the
HS-2000 Centrifuge.
