Gulf Helicopters Company (GHC)- including our subsidiaries, affiliates and joint ventures is
one of the largest helicopter service providers of Commercial transportation and vertical lift services to
industries within the Middle East Region and select international markets. Our mission is to provide the
safest, most cost-effective and reliable solutions to our customers, whether locally and worldwide.
Through our Qatar based operations, International affiliates, and joint ventures, GHC has flown in
excess of 500,000 hours over our 40 year history, with an unrivalled record of Safety.
On 26th May 2008, Gulf Helicopters Company, Gulf Drilling International, and Al-Koot
Insurance Company, were consolidated, forming Gulf International Services (GIS), a public shareholding company listed on the Doha Securities Market (DSM) with thirty Percent (30%) of GIS shares are
retained by Qatar Petroleum, a company fully owned by the Government of Qatar, and QP current
shareholding in GIS stands at 10%. GHC shares a common objective with our partner GIS companies,
with focused commitments to Safety and Excellence.
Our aviation activities include all facets of helicopter flight services and contract helicopter
maintenance, as well as contract training services and other helicopter related activities. These
aviation services are provided under Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) certification, whose rigorous
regulatory requirements and standards are modelled on the Joint Aviation Regulations (JAR) and ICAO
documentation, being the highest International accepted standards.
Our Technical Support facility, with our multinational team of highly qualified and experienced
engineers undertakes all GHC in-house fleet maintenance, 3rd party contract requirements, as well as
any modification to meet specific job requirement. Gulf Helicopters currently hold EASA Part 145
Maintenance and FAA 145 Approved Repair Station Approvals, and is a Factory Designated Service
Center for the Agusta Westland 139, Bell 212/412 & MDHI 902 type aircraft.
GHC is accredited under ISO 9001:2000 for Quality System in Management of Helicopter
Transportation, Maintenance & all associated services. Our operations are fully computerised within
state-of-the-art ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system, an integrated software solution for
aviation management.
Our Doha, Qatar support facility provides management, administrative, technical, operational, training and safety programs oversight to its operating locations domestically, as well as to numerous International Joint Ventures and operations affiliated with GHC.

GHC’s Core activity is providing full Helicopter Support Services to our clients in the Gas and Oil Industry. From our humble beginning, GHC has evolved into an international provider, moving personnel and
time-sensitive equipment to offshore or remote locations, worldwide. Over our forty year history, GHC
has worked with and hold current approvals to operate for the majority of Oil, Construction, and
Survey companies throughout the Middle East, India, and North Africa.
HC operates a premium fleet of 50+ twin-turbine helicopters that support the offshore oil and gas
industry, principally in the State of Qatar. Our primary goal and commitment to our client is to provide
safe and efficient helicopter services reflecting the highest International standards. To achieve this, we
progressively strive to ensure that our helicopter fleet is fitted with the highest level of safety and
mission equipment available, and that our crews are trained to the highest standards of qualifications.

LIFEFLIGHT SERVICES – QATAR
ATAR
Inspired by a Vision, Driven by Excellence.
Inspired by a vision of the Emir, HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, to provide the people of Qatar with world-class health care,
the LifeFlight Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) program was launched on 2007 under the sponsorship of the
National Health Authority (NHA) and in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation.
LifeFlight is fully integrated into the Qatar 999 National Emergency Communications and EMS dispatch system allowing the seamless transition from call taking to operational launch, decreasing response times and improving service delivery.
LifeFlight is the only state based HEMS program in the Gulf region staffed by internationally trained Critical Care Paramedics
offering the highest standard of non-physician prehospital care available.
Experienced pilots and air crew work in partnership to ensure that in the pursuit of saving lives, safety is never compromised.
The MD 902 Explorer provides the mission, critical edge in terms of safety profile, performance and durability in the harsh desert
environment. The midsize configuration and unique NOTAR system affords operational flexibility and maximizes crew, patient and
bystander safety once on the ground.

GULF HELICOPTERS TRAINING ACADEMY (GHTA) – QATAR
In 2011 Gulf Helicopters Company commissioned a new Agusta Westland AW139 Full Motion Flight
Simulator. This Training Device, incorporates the latest technical advancements in Flight Simulation,
and “State of the Art” Graphic Displays, and is officially certified by the United Kingdom Civil Aviation
Authority and the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority as a Full Flight simulator (FFS) as per JAR-FSTD H to
Level B.
Under the List of Credits presently granted this device by the Approving Authorities GHTA can offer

Gulf Helicopters Company takes pride in being the first Helicopter Operator of its size to commission
its own flight simulator for the AW 139, and believes it will greatly enhance the Quality of our In-house
Training; while offering excellent opportunities for other third party Helicopter Groups to meet their
training requirements, either through a wet or dry lease arrangement.
Gulf Helicopters also offers a full range of Ancillary Training Packages that can be specially tailored to
our 3rd Party Clientele, providing a comprehensive, cost-effective training solution, ranging from
Engineering and Technical ground school courses, to flight simulation packages, hours building
packages including training on the actual aircraft.
Gulf Helicopters Training Academy, along with our Flight Simulator, are located in a newly constructed
purpose-built Training Facility at Gulf Helicopters Company’s Doha International Airport location, and
just one more example of GHC’s commitment to Enhancing Safety through Structured Training.

GHC is an accredited FAA/EASA 145 organisation based in Doha, State of Qatar.
In its 40 year history, GHC has regularly added capabilities to its repair station.We have several OEM
approved repair capabilities. The enclosed list provides you with an overview of the MRO capabilities
GHC has on various helicopter platforms.

1. An authorized service centre for Agusta Westland, Italy. We have invested into tools and acces
sory equipments and are committed to the long term future of AW139 and AW189. We have a
number of repair and overhaul capabilities on AW 139 and we are currently working on further
expansion of work shop capabilities on AW 139 components.
2. An authorized repair station for Aero Sekur to carry out overhaul of Float Assembly and Life Raft
Assembly on AW 139.
3. Over the last one year we have accomplished over 8 roof replacements/repairs on AW 139.
4. An H S I (Sikorsky) approved repair station for float assemblies
and Life Raft Assemblies on S92.
5. An authorized Service Centre for RFD Beaufort (Survitec Group) for survival equipments.
6. Approved for engine duct rotation on AW 139 – 67 C engine. GHC carries out its own mainte
nance activities on various helicopter models. AW 139, AW 189, Bell 412, S92 etc. We have
carried out many 4 year checks on AW 139 to date.We have a dedicated crew for carrying out
D-checks on Bell 412/212’s.
7. approved for 300/600 Hrs. functional check/refurbishment of Fuel Nozzle on AW139
(PT6C-67C).
