STANDAND Optistart ballasts answers
today’s market challenges and takes into
consideration fixture designs, installations,
maintenance and evolving lamp technologies.
Optistart brand of electronic T8 PRS ballasts
are available in two versions. A conventional
light output design of a normal and a low BF.

Optistart acquired its name from the way
the ballast starts the lamp. This technology
offers a soft start to the lamp and extends
the lamp life (optimal start). The Optistart
ballast is also ideal for frequent switching
applications and supports the frequent lamp
on/off cycles associated with motion sensors
and/or occupancy sensors.
