Inspired by modern art installations, and the reflection of a city’s skyline mirrored in glass façade of
dominating architectural landmarks, PaneLED is a minimalist, unpolluted pane of light for both interior
and exterior urban spaces.

Practicing architecture in Hong Kong - the Asian mecca of innovative urban design – German Architect Daniel Pätzold’s succesful
growing career can be attributed to his work and involvement in several defining urban and public projects worldwide, such as the
transformation of London’s St. Pancras Station, the redevelopment of New Delhi Station, Macau’s Grand Venetican Cotai or the Dubai
Metro project.
Graduating from the Technical University of Berlin, Pätzold developed an appreciation for public art projects, a passion both enjoyed,
as an exhibitor of the Hong Kong Shenzhen Architecture Biennale, and shared, as an adjunct associate professor at the School of
Architecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Focusing his artistic, experience, passion and functional approach to the design of subtly present objects, Pätzold has
collaborated with Forma Lighting to develop an innovative product family of architectural luminaries to serve the environment through
the latest technology, whilst maintaining their flexibility to adapt and blend into a functional platform which Forma Lighting is proud to
see optimize light in almost any modern interior and exterior architectural space.

This remarkable architectural instrument is Forma Lighting’s PaneLED range, presenting a
versatile solution for the functional urban architect seeking to use lighting as the subtle hero of
any project.
True to the designer’s signature – to satisfy functional and technical requisites without
compromising the cultural and social community of a space – Architect Daniel Pätzold delivers
PaneLED for Forma Lighting.

Technical
evolution
The ultramodern flat screen, a symbol of our
technological evolution, reigns again as Forma Lighting
combines highly efficient optimal light transmittance
through square and rectangular surface areas, no thicker
than 13mm. PaneLED embodies the pinnacle of current
LED technology and offers itself as a modular platform on
which to celebrate a multitude of projects.
Including trim, trimless and Lay-in T-bar recessed,
surface mounted, pendant and track versions in the
range offering, as well as five different pane dimensions,
PaneLED floods the specifier with practical opportunities
to incorporate their commitment to energy saving lighting
design.
Boasting an impressive IP54 to withstand the outdoor
environment and the added benefits of low maintenance
resulting from the long-life LED light source, PaneLED is
rendered suitable for almost any application, particularly
vast public zones such as hospitals, shopping malls and

PaneLED is a series of Flat low profile luminaires featuring
the latest Edge Lit technology.
PaneLED are suitable for both commercial and domestic
applications and are designed to fit directly into existing
standard T-Bar ceilings or can be Trim or Trimless
recessed mounted.
Application areas: offices, entrances, receptions, meeting
rooms, bathrooms, canopy, corridors, hospitals, retail,
residential, hotel and bespoke solutions.

Trim made by aluminium extrusion powered white coated
with metal Flat panel.
Diffuser made of frosted opal acrylic with 90%
transmittance factor.
Fixture is available in 2 shapes, rectangular and square,
and in 5 sizes.
Degree of ingress protection available in 2 options IP20
and IP54.
Mounting Installation in 3 versions, Trim, Trimless and
Lay-in in exposed ceiling grid.
For Trim version via springs for ceiling thickness up to
max.25mm.
For Trimless version via additional Kit unit included, for
plaster ceiling thickness of 12.5mm or 15mm.
For Lay-in version for standard T-bar ceiling grid also ideal
for bespoke application.
Simple to install with remote driver to operate on main
voltage 220-240V 50/60Hz.
Dali, 1-10V DC or Push button Dimmable versions are
