IoT Systems Engineering Intern, Santa Clara, CA
Job Description
Renesas Electronics America, Inc. is looking for a motivated undergrad, grad student or recent
grad interested in being part of our dynamic IoT team. This summer internship is located in
Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Systems team members on various projects developing, debugging, testing and
documenting embedded systems applications
• Work with embedded systems hardware – MCUs, circuit boards and test equipment
• Develop embedded application code in C and test/debug application project code
• Special projects
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
• Graduated or enrolled in a degree program in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
• Familiarity with embedded system software including any of the following: RTOS, networking
and communication stacks, C++, Java, XML, JSON
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Focus on quality with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp different technologies
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Prior internship or work experience in a professional environment preferred
• Relocation assistance not available
