Push / Pull Handle
• Stainless steel construction throughout
• No sharp edges or protrusion
• Seams and crevices are fully welded and
permanently sealed to eliminate water accumulation
• All welds and joints are polished and blended to a
#4 smooth finish
Cabinet Designed
• Open frame assembly is a one piece tubular design
for maximum rigidity
• Tubular frame cross support are fully welded solid
stainless steel rod
• Frame assembly is structurally supported by a
heavy gauge fully welded chassis assembly for
maximum load bearing capacity
• Work height carts have a fully welded solid top
surface with perimeter channel supports for
structural rigidity
• Optional work surface extension shelf is available
• Externally mounted push/pull handle maximizes
interior storage space
• Full width handle is properly positioned
for optimal maneuverability
Door Assemblies
• Strong double pan design with bottom edge
drainage holes positioned to drain outside

Shelving Systems
• Height adjustable open shelf design provides
superior shelf width and depth for large cases and
containers
• Stationary or slide-out shelf designs are available in
solid stainless steel, perforated stainless steel, or
open wire
• Slide-out shelves extend out one-half of shelf depth
and include integral stops with a non-tip feature
• Optional wire roll-out shelves extend out two-thirds
of shelf depth and include integral stops to prevent
tipping and maintain position when loading,
unloading or washing
• Wire shelving is electro-polished stainless steel with
heavy load bearing cross supports and a waterfall
looped front edged designed to eliminate sterile
packing damage during loading
• Rear edge non-slip rails are available for all styles
of shelves
Bumper Assembly
• Full perimeter bumper in grey non-marking composite
rubber is easily detachable for replacement of bumper
insert if required
• All product features are positioned within the outside
edge of the bumper assembly to prevent damage
Caster Assemblies
• Caster body and component parts are stainless steel
for extended product life and reduced maintenance
• Wheel assembly is a 5 inch / 127 mm cushioned
non-marking grey thermoplastic rubber
• High temperature polypropylene wheel hub and
delrin axle bushing has excellent chemical resistance
and a high load bearing capacity
• Easily activated Total-Lock and Steer-Lock pedal
design is maintenance free
Product Specifications
General
• Imperial Surgical’s SteriCart Surgical Case Carts are manufactured using Series 300 stainless
steel throughout with a #4 polished finish for maximum durability, extended product life and
appearance.
• Stainless steel case cart components are die-formed and fully welded construction throughout
• All seems and crevices are also sealed with an anti-bacterial high-temperature silicone and are
water tight in order to prevent the possibility of water accumulation or microbial growth
• All components surfaces are smooth and free from crevices, sharp edges, burrs or projections
that may result in sterile pack damage or worker injury
• Components parts are fully resistant to oxidation and are able to resist leaching from repeated
exposure to disinfection agents
Cabinet Design
• Cabinet body is a die-formed one piece body wrap design in 8 gauge material to produce
maximum rigidity, open storage capacity, and minimum weight
• Top surface is a die-formed fully welded 18 gauge material with an integral drip-proof ledge to
ensure proper drainage of accidental spills from the top of the cart down the outside face of
the doors without contaminating the cart interior
• Cabinet bottom pan interior surface is sloped five degrees to facilitate drainage and has a sloped
die-formed front edge to ensure that exteriors spills remain outside of the cart interior
• Cabinet body and vertical frame are supported by a 14 gauge die-formed chassis to minimize
the cart body from twisting under load
• Chassis support frame is perforated to facilitate drainage during the cart washing process
• Top surface extension shelf is die-formed 16 gauge stainless steel and is supported on the cart
by fully welded positioning studs for maximum load bearing capacity

Push / Pull Handle
• Handle assembly is an integral welded full width
one inch (25mm) tubular design, and is positioned
to assist with proper transporting procedures and
optimal maneuverability
• The handle is externally mounted within the outside
edge of the full perimeter bumper assembly to
prevent accidental damage and maximize internal
storage capacity
Door Assemblies
• Doors are welded double pan constructions with
integrally mounted vertical support channels or
maximum rigidity
• Door assemblies include multiple drainage holes
along the the bottom edge and are positioned
to drain outside the cart interior to the sloped
lower bottom pan edge of the cabinet
• Door are mounted to the cart body with heavy
gauge stainless steel rod hinge assemblies and
are easily removed for cleaning or adjustment if
required
• The standard SteriLock door mechanism is a spring
loaded stainless steel latch assembly which
securely latches the door to eliminate the risk
of accidental opening during transportation
• An adjustable spring steel door catch holds each
door assembly firmly open in the 270 degree
position during surgical, cart washing and loading
procedures and is maintenance free
Shelving System
• Shelving System are designed with height adjustable
removable slide brackets allowing the height
of each shelf to be easily adjusted on 3 inch /
76mm increments
• Shelving is available in stationary, slide-out, and
roll-out designs and is fully inter-changeable within
each series of case carts
• Shelf designs include solid stainless steel, perforated
stainless steel or electro-polished stainless steel wire
• Solid and perforated shelving is manufactured with
18 gauge die-formed stainless steel and integral
cross support channels for load bearing capacity
of 25 lbs. per square foot.
• Wire shelving is manufactured with electro-polished
stainless steel wire with a heavy gauge full perimeter
support frame; Integral heavy gauge lateral cross
supports eliminate shelf flexing and provide for a
load bearing capacity of 25 lbs. per square foot.
• Wire shelving is design with a waterfall front edge
for added structural support and a looped wire
feature to eliminate the possibility of sterile packing
damage during the loading process
• Slide-out shelf systems extend outside the case carts
by one-half of the shelf depth and have integral stops
to prevent tipping when in the extended position and
under load
• Optional roll-out systems extend outside the case cart by
two-thirds of the shelf depth and include integral stops to
prevent tipping when in the extended position, as well as,
an anti-lift/anti-slide feature to maintain positioning when
in use and during the cart washing process
• All slide-out and optional roll-out shelving systems include
a rear edge retaining rail to prevent packs from sliding off
the rear of the shelf
• Optional slide assemblies are available to accomodate a
standard size high temperature radiused tote box or user
specified storage bin
Bumper Assembly
• Full perimeter bumper assembly is a high temperature
non-marking grey composite rubber with high impact
resistance
• Rubber bumper is mounted to a die-formed stainless steel
channel and is easily detachable from the base of the
cabinet body for replacement of the bumper insert if
required
Casters
• Stericarts are equipped with two All Swivel, one Steer-Lock
and one Total-Lock caster assembly for easy steering,
handling and positioning
• Caster assemblies are mounted to integrally welded
recessed hex nuts in the chassis frame for maximum
strength and ease of removal
• Caster body, components and bearing assemblies are
stainless steel complete with lubrication ports for ease
of maintenance when use with cart washing systems
• Caster assemblies have a high load rating capacity
(225 lbs. per wheel) with a maintenance free delrin
bushing axle
• Casters tires consist of a grey cushioned solid thermoplastic rubber five inch (127mm) diameter wheel with
low sulphuric content to prevent staining or marking
following the cart washing process
• Custom caster configurations or user specified
products are available if required
Linkage / Training Assembly (Optional)
• Linkage assembly provides a system for manually
transporting up to five carts at one time
• Stainless steel linkage assembly is fully retractable
and rests within the outside edge of the bumper rail
assembly when not in use
• The linkage/training system is complete with one
Steer-Lock caster and is designed to provide a
consistent minimum turning radius for cart trains up
to five units
