IEEE CPE-POWERENG is one important conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics
Society devoted to the dissemination of new ideas, research and works in progress within
the fields of power generation, transmission and distribution, power electronics, renewable
energy integration, power systems electro-mechanical energy conversion, automation and
EMI issues. IEEE CPE-POWERENG 2017 will be held in Cadiz, Spain, from April 4th to 6th,
2017. Cadiz is well connected to the world by an international airport in Jerez de la Frontera
(30 minutes by car), multiple train connections, a motorways, and a sea port. Touristic
attractions include historical routes through the city and wonderful beaches. Cadiz
combines a rich historical past, when it was the main gate to America from Europe in XVIII
century, with a vibrant present as relax touristic place.
The world's industry, research, and academia are cordially invited to participate in an array
of presentations and social activities for the advancement of science, technology,
engineering education, and fellowship.
Paper Submission: Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit regular papers
of their work in English. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference
proceedings, and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore online digital library.

EMI Issues
Preliminary Venue: The conference will be held at Congress Palace is located in the historic
center of Cádiz, in an ancient building where the tobacco was processed. Its location makes
possible to visit the city by walking.
Special Sessions: Prospective participants of CPE-POWERENG 2017 are encouraged to
organize special sessions consisting of several papers in a particular area within the
conference topics.
