Everest has about 200 employees on-site so far, and plans to add 400 more over the next two years. 5 Texas-based Affiliated Computer Services opened a call center at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road. The company planned to add another 450 people and bring its total number of employees to more than 1,200. The company handles phone calls for a leading wireless provider. 1 El Paso County government has moved several of its downtown and central Colorado Springs offices to the former Intel chip manufacturing plant, 1675 Garden of the Gods. About 1,500 county and affiliated employees from the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, El Paso County Public Health and the assessor, treasurer and clerk and recorder’s offices have relocated to the building, which has been renamed the El Paso County Citizens Service Center. 2 Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs has moved into the former ITT building at 1460 Garden of the Gods; the nonprofit plans to consolidate several operations and move about 200 people into the structure. The Springs based El Pomar Foundation purchased the building, and Goodwill will lease it from the trust. The Springs-based Space Foundation moved its headquarters to a building at 4425 Arrowswest Drive, just south of Garden of the Gods. It has about 50 employees. 6 Premiere Global Services, an Atlanta-based company that provides services that allow businesses to conduct virtual meetings and other forms of communications, recently consolidated two local offices and moved 366 employees into the same building as Affiliated Computer Services, a company spokeswoman said. “In addition to employees, real estate experts and retailers expect hundreds, or even thousands, of visitors will make their way daily to county offices, the Space Foundation and Goodwill, among others — many of whom will likely stop for a meal, groceries, drug-store items and the like.” Entegris, a global high-tech company that employees approximately 200 people, announced its intention to add up to 100 jobs over next five years at its manufacturing operation in the 40,000 square foot building at 1555 Garden of the Gods Rd. 7 8 High Performance Engineering recently leased 85,300 SF at the Arrowswest Business Park Campus.
