Peachtree City Water & Sewerage Authority will be receiving separate sealed Bid s for all
material, labor and equipment for the Westpark ­ Pebblestump Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation
PCWASA #54­2532 project. This includes the following, with all related accessories as shown
on the Construction Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical
Specifications: New construction of 3 manholes and approximately 600 L.F. 8” DIP gravity
sewer pipe via open cut, including connection to existing sewer manhole. Rehabilitation of
approximately 12 manholes and 2,630 L.F. of 8” gravity sewer via pipe bursting of various pipe
materials. This contract is local funded. Contract Documents may be examined at the following

prospective bid ders purchase the Project Manual and Construction Drawings from the office of
Integrated Science & Engineering, Inc.. A hard copy may be obtained upon non­refundable
payment of $50. An electronic copy may be obtained upon non­ refundable payment of $25.
Each Bid der must deposit with his bid , security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to
the conditions provided in Section 00 21 13 “Instruction to Bid ders.” Each Bid der is required
to submit a “Construction Contractors Qualification Statement”, “ Bid Security”, “ Bid Form”,
Non­Collusion Affidavit”, and “Security and Immigration Compliance Affidavit” as outlined in
Section 00 22 13 “Supplementary Instructions to Bid ders.” The Peachtree City Water &
Sewerage Authority will receive sealed bid s until March 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the John W.
Gronner Administration Facility located at 1127 Highway 74 South, Peachtree City, GA
30269. Bid s received after this time will not be accepted. Bid s will be opened and publicly
read aloud. The contract will be awarded to the low, responsive, and responsible bid der with
the Owners reservation of right to reject all bid s. Bid s may not be withdrawn by Bid ders for
60 days following opening of the bid s. This project requires formal funding appropriation and
the owner reserves the right to suspend the bid should there be a delay in that process. The
project shall be Substantially Complete within 60 calendar days from the date of Notice to

Proceed of the contract. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $300 per day

for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. The project shall be Final
Complete within 30 calendar days beyond Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages shall be
assessed in the amount of $500 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Final
Completion. There will be a required “Pre­ Bid ” meeting on March 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM located
at the Peachtree City Water & Sewerage Authority office. All contractors submitting a Bid are
required to attend. The Peachtree City Water & Sewerage Authority provides assurances
to Bid der that all anticipated Federal, State, and Local Permits along with anticipated Rights of
Way and Easements have been obtained or will be obtained by Notice to Proceed date. The
Peachtree City Water & Sewerage Authority will not issue or cause to be issued any addenda
modifying the Project Manual or Construction Drawings within a period of 72 hours prior to the
advertised time for opening bid s, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and State of Georgia Legal
