On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially welcome all the delegates, all the dignitaries, members and postgraduate trainees to Navi Mumbai on the occasion of the 6 th InternationalWorkshop and Master Course of the
Indian Academy of Maxillofacial Surgery.
The training-focused and academically inclined, Indian Academy of
Maxillofacial Surgery is a premier organization aiming to provide world class training in complex maxillofacial surgical procedures to Indian Maxillofacial
Surgeons. To achieve this, the academy has been regularly conducting training programs over the past years. This is the 6 th such workshop and has been planned as a conference too.
The Master course spanning over a period of 5 days – 19 th to 23 rd February 2014 will be held at MGM Institute, Navi Mumbai. This period will be inclusive of a day of Hands on course on Models at the venue itself.
International faculty from USA and eminent National faculty are participating to mentor and train the Indian Surgeons. The program is scheduled in a much relaxing and academically stimulating environment.

It gives me an immense pleasure and honor to invite you for the “6 th
Master Class” program of the Indian Academy of Maxillofacial Surgery. The program has been designed for the young Maxillofacial Surgeons to provide a platform for learning from the “Masters” during or immediately after their professional training period. The academy is in its second decade of existence and has been a pioneer in providing training, equal opportunities and skills for trained and young surgeons alike.
Through this academy, in the past, many successful workshops had been conducted in various part of India for the benefit of numerous OMFS trainees. Many International renowned surgeons have shared their experience and provided unparalleled training. To date, probably our academy is the only one of is kind that provides rigorous short training modules and opportunities for OMF Surgeons with more emphasis on practical aspect.
This 6 th Master class program witnesses our metamorphosis into a larger program with huge international participation with several prominent pioneers and key opinion leaders sharing their expertise. I welcome all the OMF surgeons for this enriching program.
