Laboratory Development:

Microwave Meta-material Laboratory (ACES-323) has been developed for measurement and
characterization of meta-material structures and microwave antennas.
Currently Laboratory consists of following equipments:






Vector Network Analyzer (Frequency upto 20 GHz)
One Computer Server upto 32GB of RAM
14 workstations
Various Microwave Antennas for measurement and characterization of microwave components
and circuits
ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator Software: 5 Licenses
Agilent Advanced Design System Software: 1 License
 RF and Microwave Characterization Lab
A virtual Laboratory course is developed jointly by me and Prof. M J Akhtar for under graduate and
post graduate students in the area of Microwave and Electromagnetics. This course gives the
insight information of various components, devices and parameters in area of Microwave and
Electromagnetic. The LAB is available online, and has currently about 1000 registered users
taking benefits from this on a regular basis.
