At the cutting-edge of lighting technology, PALLA’s organic curves
and natural shape harmoniously embrace the unique blend of

The flawless production technique using die-cast aluminium to
create such a smooth yet complex lamp head requires a dexterous
craftsman to mold and engineer a product range with absolute
consistency throughout its family of fixtures, while delivering the

Forma Lighting’s impeccable rendering of this complete lighting
solution credits the artisanal design of PALLA’s distinguished
architect – Franco Mirenzi.
The recipient of several notable awards, Franco Mirenzi began his
journey as a graduate of Architecture & Design at the University of
Venice.
Throughout his 30 plus years with the acclaimed modernist design
firm, Unimark International, Mirenzi delivered a variety of projects
including the architectural interiors of Milan’s landmark institutions
such as Fiat, Zanussi, Telettra, and Honeywell as well as his
collaboration with renowned architect Renzo Piano for Turin’s Meridian
Lingotto Hotel.
Lending his expertise in industrial design to revolutionize modular
office furniture, Mirenzi produced a multitude of successful projects,
earning him ‘Smau’ design awards and nominations for the ‘Compasso
d’Oro’.
Between 1973 to 2012 Mirenzi was retained as a consultant by the
design powerhouse Citterio, while also directing the architectural and
design publications, OF ARCH-OFX and DHD Hospitality.
In addition, Mirenzi complemented his professional work, projects and
exhibits, with teaching assignments at Milan’s
Polytechnic ‘s faculty of Architecture, Masters in Design courses.
Mirenzi’s talent and creative approach towards Forma Lighting’s
product designs, has birthed extraordinary architectural lighting
fixtures which Forma Lighting is privileged to include in its offering.
