HVC Supplies Incorporating Grilles Diffusers Louvre systems Fire dampers Volume control dampers Natural ventilation system components Company brochure and product range 2015 edition A leading UK manufacturer and stockist of grilles, diffusers, louvres, dampers and natural ventilation equipment HEVAC BSRIA HVC is an active and contributing member of the HEVAC committee of FETA. As a member of BSRIA, HVC have access to a full library of British and European standards, along with internationally recognised testing facilities. This not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to representing its members and supporting industry issues at a national and international level. 2 This access to literature and facilities allows us to react quickly to new market conditions by quickly designing, testing and proving new or existing products. www.h-v-c.com From the family garage, to the industry leading company of today Established in 1972 by Patrick and Patricia Nicklin in their garage, HVC began by simply buying and selling pressed steel grilles and registers to warm air heating installers in the Black Country and wider West Midlands area. In time the founders’ sons, Jonathan and Jason joined the company, and with the next generation came a new desire to design and manufacture their own products. Initially starting out with simple grilles, the range grew over time to span from grilles and diffusers, to external louvre systems and dampers. The first decade of the 2000’s brought the third generation of Nicklin family members into the company, meaning there are now three generations of the founding family working alongside an established management team with decades of invaluable experience, and a dedicated workforce which often includes multiple generations of the same families. This structure of management and workforce gives HVC qualities few other companies can hope to match, with an attitude to business based on long term relationships with customers, suppliers and staff. HVC by the numbers >>> £7.9 million turnover in 2014. Approximately 100 full time staff. 70,000 square foot production facility. Over £2 million worth of stock. A technical department with over 70 years of combined industry experience. An established and highly experienced management team and workforce, working alongside three generations of the Nicklin family. LSE 1000 companies to inspire Britain The Guild of Master Craftsmen At the start of 2014, HVC were named by the London Stock Exchange Group as one of their 1000 companies to inspire Britain. HVC is a corporate member of The Guild of Master Craftsmen, a privilege only extended to trusted and reliable companies who demonstrate a long term commitment to quality and customer service. To be included in this list, companies had to be small to medium sized enterprises, and demonstrate not only a growth in revenue over the past 4 years, but also an increase in employee numbers, workspace, contract wins or patent filings. sales@h-v-c.com 3 Large investments, long term stability Over £2 million of capital investment since 2010 With over 40 years of experience, we know the importance of investing for the future Guided by our policy of large investments for long term stability, we have invested heavily into our own purpose designed production facility, giving us the capability to produce large amounts of products with the consistent high quality demanded of modern manufacturers.
