UBC Engineering Explorations 10 for girls in Gr. 10. On Saturday March 5 at UBC Vancouver

Geering Up Summer Camps – for all students in July & August - Week-long summer camps
offering a dynamic mix of Science, Technology and Engineering, Hands-on projects,
demonstrations, tours, mentors, design challenges, and labs, with one hour of each day

SFU Surrey Open House on Wednesday March 2nd from 4:30 to 8:30 PM. SFU has turned 50. Learn
about new health technologies, SFU’s Digital Health Hub, cheer on robotic battles and

Field Trip Opportunity for girls in Gr. 9, 10 and 11 Explore trades.
April 20, 8:30 AM. to 3:00 PM. – Piping and Plumbing Program at Langley. Try your hand at
soldering, threading, cutting and crimping pipe.
May 5, 8:30 AM. to 3:00 PM. Electrical Training Centre Coquitlam. Make a connection with
electrical training and learn about wiring, fixtures and communication. The trip is free, bus
transport will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toes shoes are mandatory.
Complete the field trip form and submit to your Counsellor or Ms. Rajkumar.

A reminder to those students who have not yet submitted their 1st GT assignment, it is now
overdue. If you are intending to graduate this year it needs to be submitted ASAP.
