The project is a part of the "Golden Quadrilateral" (GQ) project,
encompassing the connectivity of the four major metros in India.
It envisages upgradation and strengthening of the existing two lanes
to four lane dual carriage facility from Belgaum to the
Maharashtra border.

Jagriti Yatra is a 3 week national odyssey on the rails.
350 youngsters are selected from over 10,000
applications from all over India and taken on a 8500
kms train journey to meet the “real heroes” of India
whose economic and social enterprises have created
remarkable social transformations. These include the
Barefoot college of Tilonia (Rajasthan) and Aravind
Eyecare system (Puducherry).
Our services include carbon foot printing, thermal
imaging and energy performance evaluation,
replacement of cement with PFA/GGBS, integrated
structural and ME design promoting natural
ventilation, ground source heat pump integration,
sustainable urban drainage, labyrinth cooling designs
and thermal mass, energy strategies including
CHP/CCHP, plans for green travel & more.
Frischmann Prabhu has supported Jagriti Yatra since its
conception. The Tata group, recognizing the
tremendous potential of this journey has now partnered
with the Jagriti team.
