Children’s Craft Faire
@ Los Osos Library
Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 11AM to 1PM

Please read special instructions for Parents and Caregivers.
Drop off times are very important.
Reminder: Children must help set up & run their own booth.
Parents & families should be spectators & helpers, not operators.
Assigned drop off times are according to last name.
A-L 10:15-10:45AM
M-Z 9:45 -10:15AM
Selling will begin promptly at 11AM.
Please do not to leave cars parked in front of Event Area.
You will be able to park at the Community Center, the Church or on Palisades after your initial drop off.
(PLEASE, do NOT block parking for potential customers or library patrons.)









Ages 13 & younger (Children must be able to operate a booth).
This faire takes place outside on the library lawn/parking area.
You supply the booth or table, and any furniture you want.
Maximum space for your table, chairs and items is 5 feet wide. NO CANOPIES/EASY-UPS, please.
You may share your booth with friends.
On your registration form, note the name and age of each craft seller at your booth.
Youth Groups are welcome also. Please attach a list of participating children.
Maximum charge for any item is $4.00. There is no fee to participate.
We have attached a checklist for each booth to this application. Please read it.

Saturday August 20th

You bring everything you will need!
Before:

PLAN YOUR BOOTH: (There is no power available.)
 BRING EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED
Maximum space is 5 feet wide for all tables, chairs, signs, etc. Set it up at home
to be sure you will fit into this space. How does it look? What else do you need?
Plan HOW TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS
Make a variety of items to sell at different prices
Make signs, decorations, & eye-catching displays
 SHOWCASE YOUR TALENTS
Consider your cost for materials. Nothing is priced over $4.00
Invite family, friends, & neighbors to event
We will ask any items to be removed that are not homemade.
Due to state regulations, products for human consumption cannot be sold.

Be sure to have change for your customers
Consider lowering prices towards end of Faire to make final sales & you may wish to make trades with other sellers
LUNCH IS ON US!
Hot Dogs & drinks will be ready for sellers at 12 noon
CLEAN-UP!
Take down your booth at end of Faire
