The following Additional Condition is added to the CONDITIONS Section of the ANDERSON
GROUP MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS COVERAGE FORM
Surge Protective Device Warranty
You promise that when a covered “musical instrument” or item of “electronic equipment” is connected to electrical power, it will be protected by a Surge Protective Device (SPD) with a UL
1449 rating of at least the level of protection shown for it in the Schedule below.
If loss or damage caused by or resulting from artificially generated electrical current (including electric arcing that disturbs electrical devices, appliances or wires creating a short circuit or other electrical disturbance) occurs to a “musical instrument” or item of “electronic equipment” when connected to electrical power with less than the warranted level of SPD protection, we will only pay that portion of the loss or damage that exceeds the deductible shown in the Schedule below
