THE DESIGN
Pinnacle Architectural Lighting has manufactured narrow aperture lighting
domestically for nearly a decade. Since the release of Edge and Edge EX, we’ve
become a leader and innovator in this market. We’ve applied our experience
and feedback obtained from the specification community to the next generation - Edge Evolution. The Evolution represents the culmination of advances in
engineering, design, technology and performance.
Trim Detail
Construction
Edge Evolution is all about the fine details. The
extruded aluminum frame design enhances the
lens fit, and provides smooth, integrated trim and
joints.
Edge Evolution combines the precision of a
steel housing and seamless detail created by an
extruded aluminum trim to achieve a superior fit
and finish. The extruded trim delicately houses
the many shielding options available for the Edge
Evolution product line.
Fully Luminous Lens
The innovative lens design eliminates any exterior trim shadowing. Lenses seat into steel housing creating a fully luminous lens for the satine,
arched/flat regress and a unique articulated lens
design.
Edge Evolution is available in 3” and 6” aperture
sizes. Simple, narrow designs create uniform
lines of light for both individual and continuous
configurations.

Create continuous lines of light with staggered lamping in both 1 and 2 lamp configurations. Add another layer
of lighting with MR16 lamps or specify Pinnacle Lighting’s turnkey daylight harvesting sensor for a sustainable
design solution.
STAGGERED LAMPING
The Edge Evolution overlapping design eliminates socket shadows, dead louver cells and
unsightly lens shadowing for continuous uniform illumination. Staggered lamping is available
in 1 and 2 lamps (T5/T8) for Edge Evolution 6 and 1 lamp (T5) with Edge Evolution 3.

DAYLIGHT HARVESTING
Today’s building environments require thoughtful control choices from planning
through final integration. Taking advantage of daylight harvesting potential
to save energy and create smarter, more responsible environments is easily
achieved through the use of the integrated daylight sensor option for Edge
Evolution.
In addition to inherent green benefits, the integrated daylight sensor is a turnkey solution
with no extra control wires to the fixture. Easily specified, and simply following the recommended
best practices in regards to placement of the sensor, your layout can benefit from additional
energy saving potential.
ACCENT LIGHTING
MR16 lamps are an ideal solution for integrating accent lighting into existing
runs. Both Edge Evolution 3 and 6 accommodate adjustable and fixed MR16
lamps. Select from LED, ceramic metal halide and halogen light sources.
