5. INSTALLATION:
a. Assembly may be Mounted in an Exterior Location
(Waterproof). The mounting surface should be horizontal
and flat, no thicker than 0.25 in.
b. Drill 13/16" [20.6mm] Hole in Mounting Surface
c. Feed Antenna Cable Through Hole. The attached gasket
provides a seal to prevent moisture from entering the
vehicle.
d. Seat the antenna on the surface and reattached the nut,
nut should be tight (approx. 5 ft. lbs. max.) to properly
seal the gasket.
e. Apply Sealant Around Perimeter of Antenna Base.
f. Connect antenna cables as required for installation.
