Subject Line: Notice Regarding DLC Transition to Technical Requirements V3.0/3.1 - Phase II Dear DLC Stakeholder, As last communicated on October 13, 2015 (see announcement here) this is a courtesy reminder that as of March 25, 2016, all products must meet the DesignLights ConsortiumTM (DLC) V3.0/3.1 Technical Requirements to remain qualified, consistent with the DLC’s announcement of the Technical Requirements Table V3.0/3.1 in June 2015 (see announcement here). In order to ensure all product listings as of March 25, 2016 meet the V3.0/3.1 Technical Requirements, all child products must be listed with rated performance information including Rated Light Output, Rated Efficacy, Rated Wattage, Rated, Rated CCT, and Rated CRI. This email is to notify you that one or more of the child products your organization currently has listed on the QPL is not listed with one or more of the above listed rated performance metrics, and is therefore flagged for delisting from the QPL if additional information is not received. There may be other issues associated with the products flagged, however in order to determine possible additional issues, rated performance information is needed. Attached is an Excel spreadsheet detailing your products and product families that, based on the QPL information available as of September 21, 2015, are not listed with one or more rated performance metrics. Rated performance information must be provided by January 25, 2016 if you wish to receive additional information regarding potential products that do not meet DLC requirements. Products can be updated with rated performance information after January 25, 2016, however DLC will not be able to communicate additional issues with the listings if the information is received after this date. Please note this effort is a courtesy to you as a participating manufacturer, and ultimately it is each manufacturer’s responsibility to ensure that product listings meet the V3.0/3.1 requirements to remain on the list as of March 25, 2016. In order to update products with rated performance information, please fill in the missing rated performance information (cells highlighted in yellow) for the products in the attached list and send the completed Excel spreadsheet to info@designlights.org. DLC staff will assume any products not updated with rated performance information in the completed Excel spreadsheet is confirmation that you are aware the products will be delisted as of March 25, 2016. DLC staff will also assume no response to this prompt is indication that you are aware the products will be delisted as of March 25, 2016. There will be no additional fees required for updating missing rated performance information of products, though update fees may apply for other reasons. The DLC Review Team will strive to update listings within normal timeframes of receiving updated information. Processing times for new applications will not be affected by applications to update existing products.
