WO2014041243
2014-03-20
Applicant(s): GREEN HOUSE EFFECT (FI)
Abstract
The invention relates to a plant wall (1 ), comprising a plurality of stackable, elongated container
elements (3), whereby inside each container element (3) can be accommodated at least one plant for
growing. In the plant wall (1 ), the roots of each plant set for growing are introducible inside a non
woven bag (4) provided with small perforations, said bag having been manufactured from a porous
plastic-base nonwoven fabric material which transmits both water and nutrients possibly dissolved in
water, yet does not itself substantially absorb water, whereby each non woven bag (4) is capable of
being positioned inside a container element (3) in such a way that the stem of each plant
accommo.not. dated in the non woven bag for growing extends upward from a floor (35) of said
container element.

POLYMERIC BAG WITH EASY ACCESS
WO2014059283
2014-04-17
Applicant(s): Polytex (US)
Abstract
A woven laminated plastic bag having an easy access or re-sealable feature and methods for making
the same are provided. In certain aspects the easy access or re-sealable feature is attached to the bag
without the use of an adhesive. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven
polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch
bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag in one
embodiment can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide one or
more discrete areas which may each contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

BUS STOP SHELTER
WO2014030033
2014-02-27
Applicant(s): JC DECAUX (DK)
Abstract
The invention pertains to s bus stop shelter (2) comprising an elongated canopy (4) forming an
overhead roof for the bus stop shelter, at least two wall sections (6, 8, 10), said canopy and wall
sections being supported by a framework (16) mounted on a sidewalk, said canopy and wall sections
defining a partially enclosed covered space providing shade and shelter for people within said
enclosed covered space, wherein the canopy is formed from a biocomposite material, said
biocomposite material being formed by a matrix comprising one or more at least in part
biodegradable plastics and a reinforcement of at least one layer of woven mats of natural fibers,
wherein both the biodegradable plastics and the natural fibers are derived from renewable natural
resources. The invention also pertains to a method of manufacturing such a canopy for a bus shelter.

ACTUATING PEDAL FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
WO2014019793
2014-02-06
Applicant(s): Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen (DE)
Abstract
An actuating pedal (1) for a motor vehicle in the form of a clutch pedal or a foot pedal for a parking
brake is proposed, wherein the actuating pedal (1) comprises a pedal body (2) with a profile carrier (3)
produced from an endless- fibre reinforced plastic in the form of organosheet, a bearing device (4) for
the pivotable mounting of the actuating pedal (1) and an actuating tread surface (5), wherein the
bearing device (4) and the actuating tread surface (5) are produced from plastic, and wherein the
profile carrier (3) has an open, U-shaped profile (16, 16'), and an open L-shaped or a closed tubular
profile (19) onto which the bearing device (4), the actuating tread surface (5) and further plastics
elements are injection moulded. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of an organosheet insert
for an actuating pedal (1).

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FIBRE-REINFORCED PLASTICS
WO2014012775
2014-01-23
Applicant(s): Audi (DE)
Abstract
The invention relates to a device and corresponding method for producing three-dimensional
components (18, 18') from fibre-reinforced thermoplastic material starting from impregnated fibre
tapes (10), wherein the device has - a plurality of grippers (1, 1', 1"), arranged alongside one another,
for gripping fibre tapes (10) impregnated with matrix material, wherein the grippers (1, 1', 1") can be
displaced in a linear manner on mutually parallel paths in each case between a pick-up position (23)
and a maximum position (24) such that the fibre tapes (10) can be tensioned between the grippers (1,
1', 1") and respectively associated transfer devices (2, 2', 2"), - a rotatable table (3, 3') on which the fibre
tapes can be laid in a first and at least in one further layer (12, 13, 14), - a severing device which can
sever the fibre tapes (10) close to the transfer device (2, 2', 2"), - a heating device (25) for heating the
layers to 160deg.C to 400deg.C, - a first moulding tool (8, 8') and one or more further moulding tools
(9, 9') which can be moved together such that they three-dimensionally form the layers (12, 13, 14), and a transporting device which can transport the still hot layers (12, 13, 14) between the moulding
tools (8, 8', 9, 9').

PLIABLE THERMAL CONTAINER
US2014084009
2014-03-27
Applicant(s): Individu (MX)
Abstract
Pliable thermal containers interchangeably serve for containing cold or hot items, and are
manufactured in polyurethane or EVA foamed materials, are struck resistant, and maintain a structure
that allows them to remain upright and resist certain loads. The containers solve durability issues, A
foamed material is used, and comprises unicellular air bubbles that provide thermal isolation
properties and at the same time, during molding, this material attaches to a plasticized textile inner
coating located at a mold piston for forming an interference zone. The lid may be directly hinged to
the cavity using a textile hinge submerged in the material or independent thereof, with the lid being
capable of being locked with embedded fasteners. with The pliable thermal containers solve brittleness
problems of current containers shaped monolithic containers, are also provided.

SOLE STRUCTURE OF GOLF SHOES
US2014020266
2014-01-23
Applicant(s): Red Fire International (MH)
Abstract
A sole structure of golf shoes comprises a plurality of plastic spikes, a plurality of anti-slip pads, a
textile and a light weight sole made by EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate). The plastic spikes and anti-slip
pads are formed via injection molding to pierce through and mount on the textile. The textile be cut
into a shape of the sole and bonded to the sole. Thus the spikes do not drop or get lost easily. Repair
trouble can he reduced and use cost is lower.
