IES EDUCATION CITY
Nestled in close proximity to the Thrissur city, IES Education City is spread over more than 40 acres
of verdant land at Chittilappilly. The salubrious campus provides an idyllic setting for the students
to achieve their educational and professional goals. IES Education City is easily accessible within a
few kms from Thrissur Railway station & KSRTC Bus station. It is also in close proximity to the Amala
Medical College & Hospital. The Cochin International Airport (Nedumbassery) is only I½ hours drive
away from IES Education City. In addition to the large College bus fleet, private buses ply frequently
right in front of the college campus.
IES Education City aims to promote Total Quality Education among the student community. The
parent organisation of IES is the Middle-East Education Services (MES), which runs the MES Indian
School (MESIS) in Doha, Qatar. The MESIS established in 1974, is committed to quality education and
social emancipation. The school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi,
is among the largest expatriate school in the Middle East and among the largest school in Asia. It
is also well established as the world’s largest e-learning campus which was recognized at the World
Education Summit.
IES Education City houses premium School and Higher Education Institutions. The flagship institution
is the IES College of Engineering. In addition, the campus includes the IES Public School, established in 1994 and the IES college of Architecture.
Together, these institutions have made the IES Education City a centre of excellence over the years and a source of pride to its

IES College of Engineering (IESCE), the flagship institution of the campus, is conceived and developed as a hi-tech technical training institution with state of the art
facilities conforming to the specifications of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and University of
Calicut. Dr V. S Pradeepan is the Principal. He leads a team of highly qualified and dedicated HODs and faculty members. IES is proud of having an overall strength of

Centre for Atomic Research(IGCAR) Kalpakkam, India, as Deputy Project Manager, he and his team created the Prototype Nuclear Submarine Test Centre. During his tenure
as Head of Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication Division of Eastern Naval Fleet, he was responsible for Installation and Commissioning of new Electrical, Electronics
and Communication, on-board newly constructed Naval ships. As CEO at SineLab, he has been instrumental in developing the LED lighting system and executing upto 100KW
Solar power management system for industrial and domestic requirements.

Dr K R Dayas, is an expert on “Self propagated High Temperature Synthesis of Electro-Ceramic Rare Earth Titanates”. He received the PSN National Award for ‘Excellence In
Science And Technology–2011’, for the R&D project funded by ISRO, wherein he developed cristobalite, which is an important chemical useful in Reusable Launch Vehicles
for space missions. In another major project funded by DIT, Govt. of India, he synthesized Nano NTC material and developed Chip-In-Glass fast Response Thermal Sensors.
As a Scientist in Electronic Research and Development Centre, Trivandrum, he developed the technology for producing phase pure PMN-PT. Moreover, he holds 4 patents for
inventions, including development of material composition and processing technology of 3977K NTC Chip thermistors for GE Thermometrics, India.

secure by using Innovative Fraud Detection Framework through Big Data Analytics. His immense interest and work on Automatic Change Detection System for Paediatric Acute
Intracranial Hemorrhage using Regression Kernels, and MRI Brain Image Registration. Segmentation and enhancement has also impacted the detection of Brain Tumors,
using MRI and MRSI. His paper on “Identifying Masses in Mammograms Based on Plane Fitting and Dynamic Programming”, has stressed the use of technology to enhance
the quality of life. He has published several research articles on these topics in International Journal of Engineering Technology and Computer Applications (IJETCA), European
Journal of Scientific Research (EJSR), International Journal of Applied Engineering Research (IJAER) and International Journal of Computer Applications (IJCA).
Mr. K. V. Kuriakose is an M.E. alumnus of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He also holds a certificate from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and has held the position
of Certified Energy Auditor Cum Energy Manager. His 32 year long professional tenure in the Electrical domain saw him rising from a junior engineer to the post of the Chief
Engineer with the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). He also served as an Electrical Engineer in both Oman and Dubai Electricity Board.
Mr. J. Vijay Prakash is a SAP certified consultant with vast experience in end-to-end project implementations. He was the Onsite Team lead – Data migration at Dubai Electricity
and Water Authority. He was also in charge of implementation of SAP ISU at Saudi Electricity Company and implemented the IS-Utilities Master data, DM, Billing and Invoicing,
FICA modules. As Solution architect & EDM Consultant at Coastal Gujarat Power Limited, the Power Generating Unit of Tata, he implemented SAP ISU based solution for their
