Description:
This invention is a system, device and method for the detection based on pressure of
encapsulated objects in a blister pack. The present invention pertains to the field of physical
technology, electronics and computing, to develop a mobile tool of small size, which is suitable
for personal use. This system detects and counts the number of objects in a blister. It also
offers extended functionality to allow the programming of alarms, events, reminders, usage
record, and logging. Finally, this also offers communication capabilities to allow (remote and
local) access to the status of the device and queries to the usage record.
This patent has been also used by the product HIGEA BOX, which has been exhibited by Telefónica
Digital at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona 2012, as a “smart drug dispenser” based on Internet
of Things.
