Safety Precautions
Please read the attached user guide and directions before using the product.
For the proper use of the product, this catalog uses the following marks as necessary.
Warning
when the user may receive a serious injury through improper use
Caution
when the user may receive a slight injury or when dangerous material failure may be incurred
Precautions for use
Warning
Do not connect wires with the electricity on nor touch the terminal area for fear that you may
get an electric shock.
(Applied to resin (plastic))
Caution
Some oil, chemicals, or solvents may cause cracks if adhered.
Short circuit, fire, or electrification may be caused in addition to loss of the product function.
Please contact us in advance if you use our product where oil, chemicals, or solvents could
splash.
Precautions for maintenance and inspection
Warning
・Maintenance and inspection must be conducted only by those with specialized knowledge.
・The terminal area must be regularly tightened to prevent a fire from happening.
Precautions for working with product
(Apply to fuse terminal block)
Caution
・Wiring must be conducted only after switching off the power and confirming there is no
electricity to prevent electrification.
・When connecting, the terminal screw must be tightened with a torque of 1.6N・m (M4) to
prevent a fire from happening.
・Do not remove the fuse while the power is on.
Fuse replacement must be done only after switching off the power and confirming there is no
electricity to prevent electrification.
・A fuse with more than 10A rate cannot be used. A fuse must be an MM type as stated in JIS
C6575 to prevent a fire from happening.
・Do not install the device in an extreme environment with a high temperature, humidity, dust,
corrosive gases, excessive vibration/shock, etc. to prevent a fire from happening and
malfunction.
・Care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign objects such as dust, concrete chips, iron
powder, rain, etc. to prevent a fire from happening or malfunction.
(Apply to disconnecting terminal block)
Caution
・Wiring must be done only after turning off the power and confirming there is no electricity to
prevent electrification.
・When connecting, the terminal screw must be tightened with a torque of 1.6N・m (M4) to
prevent a fire from happening.
・Do not move the lever while the power is on.
・When closing the circuit, push the lever well down until you hear a clicking sound to prevent a
fire from happening.
・Use the terminal cover.
・Do not install the device in a place with an extreme environment with a high temperature,
humidity, dust, corrosive gases, excessive vibration/shock, etc. to prevent a fire from happening
and malfunction.
・Care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign objects such as dust, concrete chips, iron
powder, rain, etc. to prevent a fire from happening or malfunction.
(Apply to terminal blocks other than fuse terminal block and disconnecting terminal block)
Caution
・When wiring, tighten the terminal screws with the specified torque below.
In case of M3 : 0.8N・m, in case of M3.5 : 1.2N・m, In case of M4 : 1.6N・m
In case of M5 : 2.5N・m, in case of M6 : 4.5N・m,
in case of M8 : 9N・m
In case of M10 : 18N・m, in case of M12 : 30N・m, in case of M16 : 80N・m
・Terminal screws must be regularly tightened to prevent fire from happing.
