Every student of the college must look upon him/herself
as custodian of college and must conduct him/herself
inside and outside of the college with decorum and
dignity.

Students should develop the habit of queuing up while
visiting principal's office, library & accounts office.

Smoking is strictly forbidden both inside and outside
the college campus, hostels, canteens, etc. Anybody
found in possession or under the influence of such
items would face severe disciplinary action.
Students must regularly read the notices relating to
time tables, activity schedule etc. The institute accepts no
responsibility for loss of any advantage by a student on
account of his/her failure to do so.

Milestones
Innovation of compact car to solve Parking
Problem
Compact car project is the modification of sedan car
conversion into hatch back car.This car has utility in heavy
density traffic cities where parking is a major problem. In
this project the size of car is reduced to 1 feet of its
original size with the help of mechanical systems. Having
wide scope of research the hydraulic systems will be
introduced in next version also. Talks are going on with
m a j o r A u t o m o b i l e m a n u f a c t u re r f o r f u r t h e r
advancements.
UIET Student ranked 2nd on PTU Merit List:
Naiyara Khan, a resident of Kashmir and student of
B.Tech. bagged second position in merit list of PTU,
Jalandhar by securing 88.7% marks in seventh semester
of Civil Engineering. She has been honoured by Dr. Buta
Singh Sidhu, Dean, Academics, PTU, Jalandhar for her
remarkable achievement.
A workshop on “Project Innovation”
Students of Mechanical Engineering of Universal Group of
Institutions, worked on a project “Hydrogen Propelled
Vehicle”. They implemented this concept on a vehicle
which was earlier driven by gasoline. In this project,
hydrogen is generated from the water with the help of
electrolyte in which direct current is continuously supplied.
Then this hydrogen is supplied to carburettor as a fuel. A
saving of 60% gasoline fuel is achieved by this method.

Awareness Walk on “Save Earth-Protecting our Future”
Universal Group organised an awareness walk on the
global theme - “Save Earth”. Faculty & students also
interacted and educated common man by distributing
pamphlets on road while interaction.
Workshop on Human Values
3 Days Workshop on human values was organized in
Universal Group of Institutions. The programme was based
on Human Values and Professional Ethics with a purpose to
uplift the society by creating awareness among individuals
to refine their lives by imbibing human values in

Launched Free Vocational Course
