The First-Year Experience is geared toward easing

The Sophomore-Year Experience engages students

Athletics
Colgate’s varsity teams compete in NCAA Division I. A founding member of the Patriot League,
Colgate competes against teams from American, Army, Bucknell, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh,
and Navy, as well as schools in the Ivy League. Both men’s and women’s ice hockey compete
in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
