of galaxies. She utilizes multiwavelength observations (Chandra X-ray imaging/spectroscopy, Very Large Array
(VLA) radio maps, and optical imaging/spectroscopy) to understand the nature of these sources within the cluster
environment. Specifically, she is interested in understanding how the energy output of AGN affect their
surroundings and if they alter the physical properties of the intracluster medium. Her scientific interests include
AGN in clusters and groups of galaxies, energy feedback mechanisms, radio-loud sources, multi-wavelength
studies, observational astronomy with large and small telescopes, binary stars, astronomy education research and

in NYC; this case also convicted a number of “made” mafia members for a variety of crimes to include the sale
and distribution of narcotics. He was also involved in high end white collar confidence schemes that convicted
national con artists. While at FBI HQ he was involved in creating the training program that evaluated individuals
who were being considered to work in an undercover capacity. He also served on the International Working
Group for Undercover Operations. Upon leaving the FBI, Wincelowicz came to Colorado where he worked as the
Director of Loss Prevention at the Brown Palace Hotel. In 2006, he formed The Foundation for the Prevention of
School Violence, which has worked around the State and helped parents, teachers, administrators, and law
enforcement understand how to proactively work towards reducing violence in schools.

“Joseph K,” produced by The LIDA Project, received the 2009 Denver Post Ovation Award for best new work. His

global community. As an undergraduate student, Lee studies community development in India for a semester and
then later served as a health education Peace Corps volunteer in rural Ecuador (2001-2003). His Peace Corp

individual and community health. In addition, Lee has worked and volunteered extensively for nonprofits in the
local Denver community and has led groups of youth on international programs rooted in intercultural understanding
