Additional Information
Joining a sorority requires a financial commitment. However, the rewards of being a
sister last a lifetime. Alpha Gamma Delta is committed to providing our collegiate
members with the education and programming necessary for the success of both the
chapter and the individual.
In addition to educating our members on Fraternity policies and history, Alpha Gamma
Delta provides extensive programming for the personal development of our members.
Our goal is to bring life skills education to each member to prepare her for life beyond
her experiences at college.
We encourage potential new members to consider the sorority as an investment in their
future, one that lasts a lifetime…not just during their college years.

Financial Assistance
Zeta Tau Alpha offers multiple scholarships each year for a variety of monetary amounts.
Our chapter also has a scholarship of $1,200 given to 3 sisters a year.
The Academic Achievement Executive Council member also finds academic scholarships
throughout the year (usually about 2 times a month) from different counties or alumnae
associations and encourages the girls to apply for them.
ZTA offers many financial scholarships. These include, but are not limited to:





ZTA Foundation Recognition scholarship – given once a year to one Beta Gamma
member for $1,200
Achievement Scholarship – given once a year (amount unknown)
Endowed Scholarship – given once a year (amount unknown)
Founder’s Grants – 9 are given each year of $8,000
Service Scholarship – given once a year (amount unknown)
Additional Information
ZTA is a lifetime commitment that has a short financial investment. College is a once in
a lifetime experience that should not be hindered because of the economic downturn. The
benefits of belonging to Zeta outweigh the costs ten-fold. The memories, friends, learned
life-lessons and personal growth that come from Zeta are invaluable and we want every
girl to have a chance to experience the sisterhood that each one of us has found here at
our home away from home.
