LED SIGNALMASTER™
SignalMaster™ directional lights have proven to be very effective in providing
additional vehicular warning in various applications. The addition of LED (light
emitting diode) modules, to the SignalMaster, combines effective warning with
increased efficiency and durability.
• Extremely low amp draw reduces
strain on electrical system
LEDs are solid-state lighting units based on microchip technology. The design makes
the LED modules both extremely efficient and durable. An eight-lamp SignalMaster unit
draws under 2.5 amps, and all LED SignalMaster units are highly resistant to shock and
vibration.
• Sturdy aluminum extrusion
SignalMaster units are available in four, six, and eight-lamp versions, and all “build”
warning patterns by sequentially activating lamps. Available patterns include: left,
right, center-out, and flashing warning.

APPLICATIONS
A separate controller is required to operate the SignalMaster unit. There are two
versions, standard and full-featured, of controllers available. The standard and
full-featured controllers offer a slide-switch to activate the directional pattern.
LED indicators display the active pattern for quick recognition.

The full-featured control includes:
• Street sweepers
• “Low power” mode to reduce amp draw for nighttime operation
• “Fast” mode increases the “build” speed of the warning pattern
• Tow and Recovery trucks
• Utility vehicles
• Waste hauling vehicles
• DOT and Municipal vehicles
To retrofit halogen (built in July 1999 and later) units, replacement LED modules are available. A simple connector on the replacement module makes changeovers quick and easy.
