CAOM TRANSMIT@ DATA TRANSMISION SYSTEM ON EXTENDED AREAS CAOM TRANSMIT@ The CAOM TRANSMIT@ system is an assembly of software and hardware components used for acquisition and processing of data on extended areas. Design: The main computer (the base station) runs a SCADA software which connects to the stations from territory through a modem. The communication can be done with a phone modem (dial-up), GSM or radio. The stations from territory: are represented by SACIC-02 devices. The task of SACIC-02 is to collect data form a network of CALEC-MB /ISPC thermal energy meters (up to 7 pieces) , to monitor 4 digital inputs, to measure 8 analogical inputs and to stock the data into a FLASH -type non-volatile memory. The data are transmitted to a PC on user’s request through a GSM, radio or phone modem. In addition to the data collected on MBUS network, can be ordered four digital open-collector outputs or relay-type contact and two analogical outputs. Also, through the device the parameters for the CALC counters can be set from distance. A SACIC 02 device can communicate with up to seven CALEC MB thermal energy counters. The parameters that can be collected are: - flow - turn temperature - return temperature - total volume - total energy - power - operating time for CALEC - alarms status on CALEC The values of the first six parameters are written also in the history memory of the device on a sampling rate set by the user. Optionally, a mediation of the history values can be chosen, and thus the values are kept in history according to day and month. If the history is averaged on values, the SACIC device can communicate on network only with a CALEC. These outputs can be : - open collector type, U max 30V c.c., I max 80 mA - relay contact type: 8A/ 250 V c.a. 2 analogical outputs SACIC 02 device has 2 serial interfaces - one RS232 interface to connect the device to a GSM, radio or phone modem - one RS232 or RS485 interface to data acquisition from the network of CALEC MB thermal energy meters The history is kept in two FLASH memories with a capacity of 1 Mo each. The device has 6 types of history: - daily history for thermal energy meters - daily averaged history for thermal energy meters - monthly averaged history for thermal energy meters - alarms history for thermal energy meters - analogical inputs history - digital inputs events history Outputs: Serial interfaces Capacity data history Data recording is circular. The data will be kept in the FLASH memory for 16 days if we use a 1Mo memory, a CALEC device that collects data and a 1 minute sampling rate. The change of the status on the digital inputs and outputs are kept in history. The monitoring application from the PC is a SCADA type with OPC compatible servers (data and history servers). Because of this application we can visualize the momentary values from the CALEC flow computers, we can download history form SACIC devices and we can execute operation and statistical calculations over the gathered data. If there is a local network with multiple computers, data can be available for many users. The application can manage up to 100 SACIC devices, therefore maximum 700 CALIC MB flow computers. The refresh rate of the momentary values displayed by PC is 1 second for CALEC, therefore for a maximum load of the network (700 CALECs) the data for all the devices will be refreshed in approximately 11 minutes. Obs. The refresh rate of the PC values is not related to the data sampling rates for the SACIC history. With the momentary values, we can execute the following operations: - visualization as : chart, bar graph, numbers, pointer etc - visual and/ or local alarms setting - arithmetic calculations on and between values. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ For details about these products, contact GENPRO LTD in Suceava, G.
