On May 17, Cooper Lighting joined 450+ other exhibitors at LIGHTFAIR 2011
in Philadelphia, PA. This annual event is recognized worldwide as a premier
trade show and conference for leadership in architectural and commercial
lighting. Cooper Lighting introduced its new proprietary linear LED platform
technology and exhibited its wide range of indoor and outdoor lighting
products and solutions. Cooper Lighting was also named “Category Winner”
for its McGraw-Edison Marquis LED Sign Light, Exterior Luminaires category.
Cooper Lighting also used this time to honor the winners of the 34th Annual
SOURCE Awards National Lighting Design Competition. The competition
focuses on furthering the understanding, knowledge and function of lighting
as a primary element in design. Projects are judged by an independent panel
of lighting and design professionals. Six professional awards and four student
awards were presented during the Keynote Speaker Luncheon on May 16.
