CONTRACTOR, THE OWNER'S SUPPLIED MATERIAL AND ALL
SUBCONTRACTORS. A PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE SHOULD BE ATTACHED
TO BID SUBMITTAL.
MINIMUM INTERFERENCE - ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED SO AS TO
CAUSE A MINIMUM OF INTERFERENCE WITH ANY OTHER TENANTS AND
THE OPERATION OF THE LANDLORD'S ENTIRE PREMISES. CONTRACTOR
SHALL TAKE ALL PRECAUTIONARY STEPS TO PROTECT THE FACILITIES
ON THE PREMISES AND THE FACILITIES OF OTHERS AFFECTED BY
PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK AND POLICE SAME PROPERLY.
7.
CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS ARE TO BE LOCATED IN
CONFINED AREAS AND TRUCK TRAFFIC IS TO BE ROUTED IN AND FROM
THE SITE AS DIRECTED BY THE LANDLORD. THE COST OF THE WORK
SHALL INCLUDE ANY OVERTIME NECESSITATED BY THESE
REQUIREMENTS.
8.
13. CUTTING AND REPAIR:
ALL CUTTING, DRILLING, OR REMOVALS REQUIRED TO REMOVE,
RELOCATE, ALTER OR INSTALL ANY WORK, EQUIPMENT, WIRING,
APPLIANCES, ETC., AND UPON COMPLETION, REPAIRING, PATCHING
AND FINISHING ALL SURFACES TO A NEW CONDITION SHALL BE DONE
BY THE CONTRACTOR PER THE SPECIFICATIONS.
ALL SURFACES, INCLUDING THOSE DAMAGED DURING THE WORK,
REQUIRING SAME SHALL BE PATCHED AND REFINISHED TO A NEW
CONDITION TO THE ARCHITECT'S OR TENANT'S APPROVAL.
15. CLEANING:

ALL CONSTRUCTION RUBBISH,
SCAFFOLDING, EQUIPMENT, TEMPORARY PROTECTION, TEMPORARY FIELD
STRUCTURES, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WAS REQUIRED IN CONNECTION
WITH THE CONSTRUCTION, BUT NOT A PERMANENT PART THEREOF.
T.G.C. SHALL MAINTAIN ORDERLY HOUSEKEEPING DURING THE PROCESS
OF CONSTRUCTION, AND UPON COMPLETION SHALL THOROUGHLY CLEAN
ALL AREAS. FINAL CLEANUP SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
SWEEP, DAMP MOP, AND WAX RESILIENT FLOORING. DUST, DIRT, PAINT
DRIPPINGS, OIL, GREASE, AND OTHER BLEMISHES SHALL BE REMOVED
FROM ALL SURFACES, INCLUDING PIPING AND EQUIPMENT. WINDOWS,
GLASS UNITS, GLASS DOORS AND MIRRORS SHALL BE WASHED. PAINT
OVERRUNS AND PUTTY SMEARS SHALL BE REMOVED. HARDWARE SHALL
BE RUBBED CLEAN WITH A FLANNEL CLOTH.
22. ANY DISCREPANCIES, ERRORS, OR OMISSIONS DISCOVERED IN THE
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE
ATTENTION OF THE TENANT & LAMI-GRUBB BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH
RELATED WORK. OTHERWISE, THE CORRECTION OF SUCH ITEMS WILL
BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR.
23. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE AND THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP
SUFFICIENT PERSONNEL ON THE JOB AT ALL TIMES TO PERFORM THE
WORK IN THE MOST EXPEDITIOUS MANNER CONSISTENT WITH GOOD
WORKMANSHIP, AND SOUND BUSINESS PRACTICE. THE CONTRACTOR

26. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FURNISHING
AND INSTALLATION OF ALL BRACING AND BLOCKING OF WALLS,
RECEIVING WOODWORK, SHELVING, ETC. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO
COORDINATE THE LOCATION OF SAID BRACING AND BLOCKING WITH
OWNER.
27. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE BLOCKING AT BASE OF STORE
FIXTURES, FILES, FREESTANDING WOODWORK, ETC. TO ALIGN THESE
ITEMS WHERE THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN THE FLOOR LEVEL.
28. THESE GENERAL CONDITIONS SHALL APPLY TO ALL WORK AND ALL
DRAWINGS IN THIS SET, AND SHALL EXTEND TO ANY CHANGES, EXTRAS,
OR ADDITIONS AGREED TO DURING THE COURSE OF THE WORK.
29. THE G.C. SHALL MEET WITH AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE
LANDLORD AND SHALL REVIEW LANDLORD CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS.
G.C. SHALL COORDINATE HIS WORK WITH THE LANDLORD WITH REGARD
TO TEMPORARY UTILITIES, ALLOWABLE MATERIAL, TRAFFIC ROUTES,
STORAGE OF TOOLS AND MATERIALS, USE OF TOILET FACILITIES,
HOURS IN WHICH WORK IS ALLOWED, NOISE AND DUST CONTROL,
CLEANUP AND OTHER MATTERS REQUIRING ADHERENCE TO LANDLORD
REQUIREMENTS.
30. G.C. SHALL REVIEW WITH THE LANDLORD'S REPRESENTATIVE THE
MANNER IN WHICH ALL CONNECTIONS TO STRUCTURE WILL BE MADE. ANY
PENETRATIONS IN THE BUILDING ENVELOPE OR STRUCTURE SHALL BE
REVIEWED WITH THE LANDLORD AND APPROVED IN WRITING. IF THE
LANDLORD REQUIRES THAT PORTIONS OF WORK BE PERFORMED BY IT'S
OWN CONTRACTOR, G.C. SHALL INCUR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH
THAT PORTION OF THE WORK UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE IN WRITING BY
THE OWNER.
31. G.C. SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO THE LANDLORD FOR ANY DAMAGE
OCCURRING TO ANY OF THE LANDLORD'S FACILITIES BEFORE DURING OR
AFTER CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES CAUSED BY THE CONTRACTOR, HIS
EMPLOYEES OR HIS SUBCONTRACTORS.
33. SAFETY
SCAFFOLDING SHALL BE BUILT IN ACCORDANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS
OF ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS. ALL TEMPORARY SHORING
REQUIRED FOR THE REMOVAL OF EXISTING WORK FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF NEW WORK SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE CONTRACT. CONTRACTOR
SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS WORK AND SHALL MAKE GOOD ANY
DAMAGE CAUSED BY IMPROPER SUPPORT OR FAILURE OF SHORING IN ANY
RESPECT.
DURING PERFORMANCE OF WORK, G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF WARNING SIGNS, LIGHT SIGNAL
DEVICES, GUARD LIGHTS, BARRICADES, GUARD RAILS, FENCES AND
OTHER DEVICES AS APPROPRIATELY LOCATED ON AND AROUND THE JOB
SITE WHICH WILL GIVE PROPER AND UNDERSTANDABLE WARNING TO ALL
PERSONS WITH REGARD TO HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT AND
OPERATIONS BEING PERFORMED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE G.C.'S
WORK. ALL WARNING DEVICES SHALL COMPLY WITH O.S.H.A. AND
OTHER APPLICABLE GOVERNMENTAL REGULATIONS AS REQUIRED FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES AND CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED.
INSOFAR AS JOB SITE SAFETY IS CONCERNED, THE ARCHITECT IS
RESPONSIBLE SOLELY FOR HIS OWN AND HIS EMPLOYEES ACTIVITIES ON
THE JOB SITE, BUT THIS SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED TO RELIEVE THE
OWNER OR ANY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS FROM THEIR
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MAINTAINING A SAFE JOB SITE. NEITHER THE
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE ARCHITECT, NOR THE PRESENCE OF
THE ARCHITECT OR HIS EMPLOYEES AND SUBCONTRACTORS, SHALL BE
CONSTRUED TO IMPLY THE ARCHITECT HAS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR
METHODS OF WORK PERFORMANCE, SUPERINTENDENT, SEQUENCING OF
CONSTRUCTION, OR SAFETY IN, ON OR ABOUT THE JOB SITE. THE
OWNER AGREES THAT THE G.C. IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR JOB
SITE SAFETY AND WARRANTS THAT THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE MADE AN
ADDITIONAL INSURED UNDER THE G.C.'S GENERAL LIABILITY
INSURANCE POLICY.
34. G.C. TO COORDINATE ALL WORK WITH LAMI - GRUBB.
35. G.C. SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSTRUCTION DEPOSITS
REQUIRED BY THE LANDLORD WHETHER REFUNDABLE OR NOT.
36. G.C. TO VERIFY LEASE SPACE DIMENSIONS & EXISTING BUILDING ELEMENTS
FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE DRAWINGS BEFORE COMMENCING CONSTRUCTION.
ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE
ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER FOR RESOLUTION OF DIMENSIONAL CONFLICTS AND
COMPONENT LOCATIONS. NO CHANGE ORDERS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CHANGES
REQUIRED IN THE WORK AFTER CONSTRUCTION HAS COMMENCED UNLESS
SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED BY THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER AND THE OWNER.
32. APPLICABLE STANDARDS OF CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY HAVE SAME FORCE
AND EFFECT ON PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK AS IF COPIED DIRECTLY
INTO CONTRACT DOCUMENTS OR BOUND AND PUBLISHED THEREWITH.
