History
In 1982, Tabriz Branch of Islamic Azad University was founded. It was the first branch of Islamic Azad University. Faculty of Medical Sciences was established in
1985 by admitting students in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery and Laboratory
Sciences. Since October 2015, it has been approved that the faculty can hold courses in Dentistry, Surgical Technologist, and Anesthesia. Currently, about 2000 students are studying in seven different medical fields. Medical Sciences Faculty of Tabriz Branch is one of the most well-equipped and dynamic branches of IAU.

Bazaar of Tabriz is a historical market situated in the city center of Tabriz, Iran. It is one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East and the largest covered bazaar in the world. It is one of Iran's UNESCO-approved world heritage sites.
Blue Mosque, Tabriz
The Blue Mosque is a famous historical mosque in Tabriz, Iran. The mosque and some other public buildings were constructed in 1465 upon the order of Jahan Shah, the ruler of Kara Koyunlu.
