Developed and taught Mechatronics lab. Introduced Siemens PLC Programming on FESTO manufacturing
stations, used QNET Mechatronics, DC Motor Control and HVAC setups and taught LabVIEW data acquisition
using Elvis II+ and Prototyping boards. Used SimMechanics for visualization and analysis. ANSYS Workbench
15.0 taught in the Machine Design II labs.
Taught the CAD design course in the Civil Engineering using AutoCAD, CAD in Mechanical Engineering using
Creo 2.0, Statics, Machine Design lab using ANSYS 14.0 and APDL. Taught the Senior year Finite Element
Method lab using ANSYS 14.0.
Taught Solid Mechanics II and Aircraft Structures I laboratories. Conducted experiments in tension,

Designed an experimental setup from ground-up to generate and detect laser generated ultrasound using
contact and non-contact techniques.
Implemented an automatic force control set-up using Motorola MC68HC11 microcontroller.
Used assembly language to program the MC68HC11 Microcontroller.
Developed algorithms in MATLAB for computing surface wave speeds in solids, acoustic wave speeds in
crystals, and shock waves in a flow.
