document outlines one of the documents required and at what time it is
required.
GENERAL
When a project reaches a stage where it is ready to commission each panel and
device needs to be tested.
DOCUMENTATION INSTALLERS COMPLIANCE
This document is a declaration that all work on and associated with the security

INSTALLERS COMPLIANCE DECLARATION
This document is a form / document that needs to be completed and submitted to
DET Security Unit Design Office.
The purpose of this form is to make a legal declaration that all work carried out as
part of the scope of works complies with all relevant requirements.

The person who carried out the works or who directly supervised the works on
site must be the person making the declaration.
Declarations will not be accepted from office based staff.
WHEN TO USE THIS FORM
This form is to be completed and sent to DET Security Unit Design Office when you;
(a) carry out any work on
(b) make any modifications to
(c) disconnect any part of
a security system that DET Security Unit manages.
DISCREPANCIES
Where there is a discrepancy between information contained in this document and
information contained in the latest version of the DET Security Unit Specifications
980001 or Proprietary Alarm Specification then this document will override the
specifications.

• Refurbishments
• Additions
• Disconnections
• Hybrid Conversions (Syd Metro)
