RESOURCES, RIGHTS AND CAPABILITIES: IN SEARCH OF PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME SOCIAL FOUNDATIONS
FOR EUROPE
CR ENSAM NANTES CAPRIGHT European Conference
Bringing the state back in?
Promoting the development of capabilities for all in Europe.
ENSAM Nantes, 2 and 3 December 2010
Following a crisis that has proved that free market
solutions do not offer a viable answer to European integration,
our research establishes alternative foundations that reconcile
economic reconstruction with social justice.
The European Research Project CAPRIGHT “Resources, Rights
and Capabilities: In Search of Social Foundations for Europe”, is
organising an International Conference in Nantes on 2nd and 3rd
of December 2010. This opens up its research results for public
debate.
This Conference is supported by the City of Nantes, the Maison
des Sciences de l’Homme Ange Guépin, the Institute of
Advanced Studies of Nantes, the Council of Department LoireAtlantique, the Council of the Region Pays de la Loire and the
European Commission within the 6th Framework Programme.
Contributions come from researchers, economic, political and
social actors from the 14 countries involved in CAPRIGHT.
