Why choose PEER?
PEER is a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and a Registered Training Organisation
(RTO) providing employment and training under the one roof.
We are a not for profit organisation providing above average completion rates in
apprenticeships. We have a considerable network of clients and stakeholders which include:
employers, industry partners, government and industry associations. PEER communicates
regularly with our stakeholders to ensure we get up-to-date information about standards, new
initiatives, new technologies and industry advice. Our Board Members are at the heart of the
industry sectors we service and provide both governance and technical direction to our
organisation.
Training
PEER has a long history of training VET in school students in our Technical Training
College and partnering with schools in South Australia to provide this service. We also
provide Pre-Apprenticeship training to school leavers wishing to pursue a career in the
Plumbing and Electrotechnology trades. PEER is passionate about training for these skills-indemand occupations which are essential in the building, construction and related contracting
industries throughout Australia.
PEER also provides short courses for individuals who need basic licences to work in the
Building and Construction Industry, in addition to upskill training for qualified tradespeople
looking at gaining specialised job skills.
‘I’ve been associated with PEER for over 25 years. The
staff’s passion and support for apprentices has been
second to none, and I’ve seen that first hand as an
employer and father of a PEER plumbing graduate’.
Rob Pavan, Manager Business Development
CDC Plumbing and Drainage

coaching and tips on how to gain employment with PEER. Being a Group Training Organisation
(GTO) we provide job security to our apprentices throughout the duration of their
apprenticeship with our extensive network of Host Employers.
