SELF-PROTECTED TRANSFORMERS
Single-phase or three-phase transformers which have protection elements against
overloads, external short circuits in the low voltage network and surges. They also
have oil immersed fuses in the high voltage side to insulate them from the electrical
network in case of internal faults.
Available for single-phase applications in capacities ranging from 5 KVA through
167,5 KVA and for three-phase applications in capacities ranging from 15 KVA
through 500 KVA with secondary voltage of 220 V and capacities of up to 1000
KVA with secondary voltage of 440 V.
Manufactured meeting: ANSI-57.12.00, IEC-76 and NTC standars.

DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS
Single-phase or three-phase open winding
dry type transformers with self-extinguishing
H-class
insulation

For voltage ratings through 1,2 KV
transformers they come with an IP20
protection enclosure included.
For voltage ratings through 15 KV no
enclosure is provided and can be
manufactured with or without electrical
shielding.
These transformers are useful for raising or lowering voltage levels, in residential,
commercial or industrial applications.
Low voltage transformers, are available in KVA ratings ranging from 1 KVA through
500 KVA. For three-phase transformers with high voltage ratings up to 15 KV are
available in capacities ranging from 75 KVA through 630 KVA.
Rymel dry transformers offer optimum efficiency, low losses level, and minimum
noise levels.

SUBMERSIBLE TRANSFORMERS
These transformers are manufactured in accordance to: ANSI C-57.12.23, ANSI
C-57.12.24, NTC 4406 and RETIE standards.
These transformers are available in capacities of up to 3000 KVA for three-phase
transformers and up to 500 KVA for single-phase transformers. High voltage rating
through 34,5 GrdY/19.92 KV and 150 KV BIL.
If the customer requires it, the tank can be made of stainless steel.

Radial Feed type for the end of medium voltage circuit and Loop Feed
type to continue the medium voltage circuit.

The visual inspection is not enough to know what is the
general condition of the transformer, for this reason the
electrical tests are required as a complement to know the
condition of the solid insulation of the transformers, as
they inevitably will deteriorate over time and its condition
will show how much remaining lifetime has the equipment.

THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTION:
This
technique
allows
contactless
measurement of temperature, and also the
observation of images formed by the infrared
radiation source.
This technique is applicable for high and low
voltage lines, control and power enclosures,
electrical joints, hot spots, distribution and
power transformers, electric motors, among
other applications.

Current Limiting Bobbins:
Used to limit the fault currents
to 3 KA, during 2 seconds in
medium voltage (rating
through 15 KV) lines, BIL 95
KV and current ratings of 50,
100, 150 and 400 A.
Anti-theft covers (MAGLOCK):
High technology and high reliability
covers with a specially designed
stainless steel lock which provides total
adjustment between the cover and the
manhole, and avoids movement.
To remove the lock is necessary a
special tool, with a unique code
assigned to each utility company.
MAGLOCK helps to protect the
infrastructure of the utility companies
against theft, vandalism and accidents;
Round Type MAGLOCK: Covers available in polypropylene, metal and
polyconcrete.
Rectangular Type MAGLOCK R-1: Covers available in polypropylene.

Complete measurement system transformers: This is a
completely self-protected transformer which has internal
fuses, a surge protection device (SPD) in the high voltage
and one in the low voltage.
It also has a current transformer (CT) per phase in the low
voltage connected to an energy meter.
Transmission network failure detector:
Allows the detection of presence
or absence of energy in the 13,2
KV transmission lines and
transmits the events via GPRS or
RADIO to a SCADA platform or a

Auto-transformers:
