alternative to dry powder extinguishers for Class A and B fire risks.
• Designed and approved to EN3.
• All models except UFE 10 are tested to clause 9.2 of EN7 3 for use on

The water feed from the fire service pump is routed to the dry riser system by means of an breeching inlet.
UNISAFE breeching inlets are suitable for installation on riser in a building for firefighting purpose fitted
with inlet connection at fire brigade access level and outlet connection at specified points.

Product Features
The innovative design of this branchpipe incorporates
multi-purpose applications, in which a full solid jet, spray and
shut-off, are instantly formed by changing the position of the
hand lever. This gives the fireman the freedom of choice to
use either of these patterns demanded by the situation. The
branchpipe has a ball valve of ABS (plastic) construction. The
corrugated barrel and nozzle are made of nylon, material,
having 63mm. inst. Inlet and nozzle tip of 9.5 mm.

Product Features
The second versatile model of this multi-purpose hand
controlled branchpipe, incorporates all the above
applications, with the additional salient feature of having an
in-built sysem of providing a water curtain for the protection
of firemen from radiant heat. The water curtain arrangement
incorporated in the system is operated from the main control
and can be utilized by the fireman, alongwith either jet or
spray. This light-weight branchpipe of aluminium alloy
construction is available in 63mm. inst. Inlet with ABS
(plastic) ball valve, barrel and nozzle with 16mm. tip. The jet
tube is sheathed externally in red, corrugated, polyamide
material,facilitating a good grip.

PIPE HANGER

Designed to support insulated as well as non-insulated stationary
pipes. Recommended to install prior to the erection of piping.
Vertical adjustment is possible once the pipe is in place. The
required elevation setting con be done by using the lower nuts (not
supplied) & the top nut (not supplied) tightening assures proper
performance of hanger after adjustment.

EXPANSION JOINT
Seismic Double Expansion Joint
Gimbal type expansion joints are designed to
permit angular rotation in any plane by the use of
two pairs of hinges affixed to a common floating
gimbal ring.
Simply, a double gimbal expansion joint is
consisted of two single gimbal expansion joints
and an intermediate pipe connects them each
other. The advantage of this arrangement is the
ability to absorb a large lateral movement in any
plane at each end. Because the gimbals are
attached to each end of the bellows, the thermal
expansion of the intermediate pipe will not be
absorbed by the universal but must be accepted
by the adjacent piping.
Movement Absorption
This type of expansion joints are used to absorb axial and lateral movements in all
planes. The amount of lateral deflection depends on the convolution number of the
bellows on each side of the expansion joint.
This amount can also be increased by changing the length of the intermediate pipe.
Hinges and gimbals provide proper positioning and prevent installation inaccuracies.
Advantages of Double Expansion Joints
• Protects the pipeline systems against collapse & breakages by compensating seismic
motions (earthquake) and large lateral and angular movements.
• Movement of bellows is more controlled.
• Internal flow liners for eliminating velocity problems may be fitted
• Anchors only require to absorb spring forces.
• Pressure thrust is restrained by the hardware.

movements caused by the potential break downs
and depressions especially where the seismic
movements may cause hazardous results.
UNISAFE - U Flex and V Flex assemblies that are
manufactured with FM (certificates prevents
structural deformation such as cracks and break
down of rigid connection by the required
flexibility they provide and offer easy, safe and
reliable installation features for the users.

SOLENOID OPERATED DELUGE VALVE
UINSAFE Deluge Valve is electrically operated valve with moving diaphragm assembly mechanism.
Deluge valve is a specialty valve used in sprinkler system as well as in the water spray system to control the flow of water
in the system network.
Normally valve consists of 3 sections of cover chamber, Inlet chamber and outlet chamber. All three are separated from
each other by diaphragm assembly.
Deluge valve remains in closed position unless pilot control system applies line water pressure to or release the water from
cover chamber which in turn moves the diaphragm assembly upwards
and allows the water to enter in to the system.

Dry Barrel Fire Hydrant
UNISAFE UL listed and FM approved dry barrel water hydrant are
manufactured in accordance with AWWA C502 standards. UNISAFE dry barrel
hydrant has highest quality and gives smooth and optimum performance.
Dry barrel water hydrant main valve is located below ground and section that
exceeds above ground is void of water except during operation. Dry column
empties itself automatically on closing the main valve when the hydrant is not in
use.

“Bib Nose” Pattern High Pressure Regulating Hydrant Valve

UNISAFE valve design and construction of the hydrant valve are strictly in accordance
with BS5041: Part1: 1987 and generally to BS5154:1991 standards. The valve comes
with screw or flange inlet connections.
UNISAFE 65mm diameter Gunmetal high pressure “Bib-Nose” pattern regulating hydrant
valve is field adjustable which allows the user to set the valve outlet pressure as desired
according to the conditions of the fire protection system in which the valves are installed.

Operation
When the valve is open, the inlet pressure flows into the upper part of the pressure
chamber. By adjusting the spring below, a balance pressure of these two forces determines
the degree of the valve opening to maintain a constant outlet pressure.
When the valve outlet pressure is regulated, it will remain set unless it is being tempered.
The valve outlet pressure setting can only be regulated under a “flowing” condition. A
small flow coming out of the valve outlet is sufficient to perform the task. The valve counter
balance spring design allows the outlet pressure range to be regulated between 3.5 to 12
bars. The inlet pressure ranges from 5.7 to 21 bars.

Single spherical rubber expansion joints are designed for the piping system to absorb pipe movement, absorb vibration,
noise and shock, relieve stress, and compensate for misalignment and to protect rotating mechanical equipment against
start up surge force.

Thermal movements appear in any rigid pipe system due to temperature changes.
Single spherical rubber expansion joints allow for axial compression or axial
extension, lateral deflection as well as angular movement.
• Easy Installation With Rotating Metallic Flanges
The floating metallic flanges freely rotate on the bellows, compensating for mating
flange misalignment, thus speeding up installation time. Gaskets are not required,
provided the expansion joints are mated against a flat face flange as required in the
