BS Electrical Engineering
BS Electrical Engineering is a four year degree program
offered by the Department of Electrical Engineering. Major
details of the program are mentioned below.
Admission Requirements

Higher Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent with
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry securing at least
60% marks in aggregate

Diploma of Associate Engineer Examination in Electrical /

The Department of Electrical Engineering is dedicated
tocontinued innovation through its high quality academic
programs and competitive research. The department offers
undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering and
graduate programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer

up with their fast pace of technological advancement. We

summer internship program following their 6th semester or
after the completion of 90 Cr. Hrs.
Program Duration
This is a four year degree program comprising of 8 semesters
with a minimum of 135 Cr. Hrs. There will be a Fall and a
Spring semester in each year. The summer semester will be
utilized for internships or deficiency courses. The maximum
duration to complete BS Electrical Engineering degree is 07
years.

Course Deficiency
Applicants with the undergraduate degree other than
Electronic/ Telecommunication/ Computer/ Electrical
engineering domain may be required to take some
Undergraduate courses to fulfill pre-requisite deficiencies,
subject to the decision of EE Graduate Admission Committee.
The deficiency Cr. Hrs will not count towards the minimum Cr.
Hrs requirement for award of the degree. A tentative list of

f) Local Defense
g) Publication/Acceptance of at least one research
paper in an ISI impact factor journal
A PhD scholar is required to register at least 03 Cr. Hrs.
research work in each semester after the completion of
course work.
