What Is It? / What Does It Do?
The LFUSCD Series of (SiC) Schottky Diodes has near-zero recovery
current, high surge capability, and a maximum operating junction
temperature of 175° C.
Littelfuse silicon carbide (SiC) Schottky diodes come in ratings of 650 V and
1200 V at currents ranging from 4 A to 30 A in either TO-220 two-lead or
TO-247 three-lead packages.
Compared to standard silicon bipolar power diodes, SiC Schottky diodes
dramatically reduce switching losses, and enable substantial increases in
system efficiency and robustness.
The diode series is ideal for applications where improvements in efficiency,
reliability, and thermal management are desired.
