Symantec developed the Symantec Gateway Security 300 Series. This easy-to-manage
appliance will get your network up and running quickly and easily, providing dependable
connectivity and powerful protection.
Secure, reliable, and easy to manage
The appliance includes six security technologies—a stateful inspection firewall, secure IPsec
VPN connectivity, intrusion detection, intrusion protection, content filtering, and policy
enforcement for most Symantec connected clients. The network component is also multifunctional. It supports LAN switching, reliable Internet sharing, routing, and redundancy,
along with an optional secure wireless LAN access point. An intuitive installation wizard and
browser-based management interface make setup a breeze.
Ready to use and easy to keep up to date
The appliance comes with all the software you need to get started, while embedded licensing
eliminates the hassle of license management and the cost of monthly subscription charges. Going
forward, LiveUpdate keeps your firmware up to date, and to get you up and running smoothly,
Symantec includes 90 days of world-class support.
