Electric Companies A to Z
An online directory that lists the holding company and subsidiary names for EEI member electric companies,
distinguishing between current names and those no longer in use. Old and new company names, affiliations
and mergers can be traced over the past two decades. Updates are made as changes occur.
Associate Directory
This online directory provides each Associate Member with a place to describe their products, services, and
contact information at no charge. View by company name, or by type of business. Please send your directory

Wholesale Markets Guide
EEI’s Wholesale Markets Guide has been designed to help potential market participants, regulators,
consultants, and others understand the procedures, protocols, and requirements established by four operational
RTOs/ISOs: PJM, the New York ISO, the New England ISO, and ERCOT.
The Guides describe the administration of various markets and how they are monitored; grid operations and
ancillary services required to maintain reliability, and processes for expansion; and the organizational structure,
administrative processes, and interaction with customers.
One of the most valuable features of the Wholesale Markets Guide is the ability to link directly to all source

Electric Utility Facilities Siting Workshop

Siting new transmission and generation infrastructure facilities is a major challenge facing the electric utility

Avian Protection Workshops

The workshops provide training on ways to minimize bird deaths from interactions with electric power lines. The
agenda includes regulations protecting birds, a primer on electric transmission and distribution systems, the
biological basis for bird mortality, and steps to develop electric utility avian protection plans. The courses have
been developed and presented by the Avian Power Line Interaction Committee (APLIC). The workshops are

EEI/AGA Labor & Employee Relations Conference

The Labor and Employee Relations Conference held annually, provides a forum to improve the professional
knowledge and expertise of member company labor relations and employee relations specialists. Industry
representatives are able to share ideas and information concerning all facets of employee relations. The
exchange of information concerning trends and practices within the industry has a direct impact upon members
companies' collective bargaining. Discussions of what other companies and unions have settled, negotiated
and/or discussed allows member company labor relations practitioners who are soon to enter labor negotiations
to have knowledge of labor's position beforehand. While aspects of labor law and labor relations can be learned
elsewhere and certain settlements can be studied, there is no other forum in which such a complete study of

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
•The EEI Associate Program is
designed for companies that have an
interest in advancing the development
of the electric power industry. These
firms may provide goods or services to
the industry, but may not be engaged in
the generation, transmission, distribution, sale or brokerage of electricity.
•Annual dues are based upon the
annual revenue of the firm, and begin
at $4,000.
•Please note that the meetings listed in
this catalog reserve the right to conduct
occasional executive sessions, open
only to electric utility personnel.
•All applications for Associate membership are reviewed and approved by the
EEI Board of Directors, comprised of
75 utility CEOs.
