CE-P-DSUK-Rev0-07/2012 Code Functions Boost For vented lead and Ni-Cd batteries starting-up and equalizing, it is useful to set the voltage at a higher level for several hours. The boost device rises the charging voltage by 3.8%. This function is activated by strapping connector terminals. The voltage automatically returns to the initial tension after 12 hours in boost (manual return on 6011054). Battery test The test allows to prevent back up interruption due to a wire or a battery link cut or defective battery. The test can be performed automatically or manually from free volt contact control. Function not available 6011054. Signalling The charger status is indicated by a Led • Charger Ok: Led lighted up • No input sector fuse and mains fault: LED off Additionally (not available 6011054): contact signals synthesis fault • Low battery voltage: Led flashes (quick) • High charger voltage: Led flashes (quick) Charger shuts down in case of regulation lost to protect all the connected equipments • Battery test (on a battery fault): Led flashes (quick) • Overload or battery discharged (current limit): the LED flashes intermittently; no fault report.
