The awards will be presented at the MohawkValley Engineers Executive Council (MVEECJ Annual Awards Banquet on April 4th2013 in Utica NY. Strom, a highly respected electrical engineer throughout the world for his pioneering efforts and contributions in the art, science and practice of communications. Charlie spent the last 47 years of his life in Central New York promoting and advocating engineering at work, through professional activities, and as adjunct Professor at SWY Institute of Technologt. He held the distinguished grade of Lfe Fellow of the IEEE, it highest grade, and was afounding member of many of its national level, technical societies. He was a member and trustee of Rome Academy of Sciences, a member of Erie Canal Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and a member of the Rome Radio Club; he was an active, licensed Radio Amateur Operator. This anard is in memory of him and his many contributions.
